That's a very weird thing to say. So you just think romance or repercussions of sexuality are irrelevant most of the time?

Some examples:
Ghosts of Mars - Does the sexuality of any character add anything to the story?

Ridick - I want to watch a sociopath survive against monsters on an alien planet and steal a ship to escape. Does knowing that another character is going bang him afterward add anything?

Mandroid - At the end of the movie, after the villain has been defeated, he cheers himself up by going to a strip club. Does seeing that add anything?

I get as far as Casee says there's more to Blake than his looks. But then Blake claimed that he is the sexiest man to look at Casee. Then the sentence confirms that Blake, has in fact, looked at Casee. In case it was in doubt that Blake knows what Casee looks like?

Wouldn't care. I would evaluate the game based on content, not on who made it.

Do you get upset when there are too many straight/gay characters in a show?
I get upset when that's the focus of the character. I find that in most stories there is no reason to know a character's sexuality.

Do you get upset when there aren't enough handicapped people represented? Trans people? Muslim? Etc?
I would not notice the absence of such characters any more than I would notice their presence. And I would only notice their presence if they are so poorly written that there is nothing else notable about them.

I would not care who the writer is. I would assume anyone is capable of researching events and using them for material to portray in their story until demonstrated otherwise.

How important is this stuff to you?
If anything I think this stuff hinders the creation of media so it's more important that it not interfere.

You don't bleed on the box. In the first movie blood coming into contact where someone opened the box brought the person back. In the 3rd movie blood came into contact with a cenobite that had been turned into a pillar which woke it up.

I was going through my Steam library to check if there were any new DLCs I wasn't aware of. Many of the games I bought don't have a store page anymore. Others still have a page but are no longer being sold and the DLC they had is removed from the page.

No, this is nothing compared to what politicians currently holding office have done.

The Minneapolis policy, as of Wednesday, allowed "unannounced entry" on high-risk warrants, which would "authorize officers to enter ... without first knocking and announcing their presence or purpose."

High-risk makes it all the more important that the police announce their presence and purpose.

I no longer think they are credible in determining when something is related.

This is the latest attempted crime thwarted by authorities with a connection to nerd culture.

So this is a bit confusing...

According to Snopes this was false on the basis that the safe smoking kits include other things in addition to crack pipes. Which suggests that the inclusion of crack pipes was true.

Apparently it's been updated after an announcement that federal funding would not be used for crack pipes. But that still leaves it vague as to whether the kits will include them but just not paid for with federal money.

I would be the guy that refuses to take part in the manufactured scenario, so I would probly be a victim of someone that does take part.

Think of this example: Ready Player One is filled with references to other movies, comic books, video games, and probably some things I didn't catch. The average viewer doesn't know who original created them or who currently owns the rights to them. They just think "there's a thing I recognize from somewhere else" without being concerned about how it's able to be part of this movie.

I'm not on Win10 so I haven't played it myself. I just thought it fit. It looks like there's resource patches, a supply chain, and research. The variation on that is more action focused and defending against waves of enemies. Instead of a huge sprawling factory it encourages you to teleport between remote outposts.

We have two statements.
Violent people in a protest don't get arrested.
There is no reason to arrest the peaceful protesters.
Both statements are about not arresting someone. This much is accurate.
What is not accurate is that the second statement corrects or has any bearing on the first statement.

What I did say was that because of the association with an act of protest the not peaceful ones shouldn't be arrested either. adgl's argument appears to be that it's difficult to arrest them. But that doesn't matter because it says nothing in regard to why they should be arrested.

You claim my response to adgl didn't address what he said in the quote. His response didn't address what I said when he quoted me. Which is a habit of his.

If a bunch of similarly dressed people arrived as a group, and left as a group, and drew attention away from the one member of their party that did the robbing then I would find that very suspicious.

Outside of election time, society doesn't decide who gets arrested.

Society influences enforcement of the law on a local level. That was the very goal of the protests. The laws them self get changed when it becomes clear that one is unpopular and is no longer enforced.

What was implied? As far as I can tell I said one thing and adgl said something contradictory to it. But I don't see an understanding on his part of what lead me to the conclusion I've reached, nor do I see any arguments to dissuade me from my statement. This is where we disagree. And this is what adgl failed to address. News reports focused on the ratio of peacefulness of the protests. It was an overwhelming aspect to their coverage of the not peaceful parts of the protests. It holds significance.

From what I unserstand it was common practice to arrest all people in a vehicle if one person had in the vehicle had drugs on them. This is not that different.
