Topic | Why was the GameFAQs moderations reddit set to private? |
STEROLIZER 04/22/24 12:41:09 PM #241 | DoesntMatter posted... i wouldn't have had to if the sub had ever been moderated properly in the first place. i wasn't just reporting random shit for no reason. everything i reported were things i viewed as violations of reddit content policy. when i first came across that sub, and had a look back and saw months and months worth of rampant and unchecked harassment, bigotry, hate speech, unhinged rants, etc. etc., i was absolutely appalled. your unwillingness to properly moderate the subreddit you made is what led to the chuds who inhabited it getting bolder and bolder and going off the deep end with their delusions of persecution and retribution. you gave them what was effectively a safe space for them to reinforce each others' delusions and ego-driven antics. you enabled them. Topic | Your reaction: Fandom's new rules now apply to real life. |
STEROLIZER 04/21/24 1:47:57 PM #12 | Wouldnt affect any of us really. Regular everyday average joes dont go through life violently harassing folks they feel voted differently than they do, while simultaneously sexually harassing folks they deem attractive. Honestly this is why Fandom probably instituted these rules. To normalize the vibe and virtue of this place a bit more, and get in on par with general society so that they can start onboarding new users from the social media crowd. |
Topic | WCW's cruiserweight division was legitimate.. |
STEROLIZER 04/21/24 12:56:35 PM #81 | This was the initial tournament that began the cruiserweight division. WCW kept referencing a fictional tournament in Japan taking place to crown the first champ, when in reality it was just Ohtani rematching Benoit from the Super Juniors tournament. Ohtani won, was granted the belt, then lost it to Malenko on worldwide in what was a 6 minute match about a week later then never showed up on WCW Television ever again. WCW stuck with the whole tournament angle, so I guess technically this is what they are referencing, considering in the bout that debuted the cruiser title Benoit put his Super Juniors title on the win as well. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/1/1cb0d85f.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/a/a89e508a.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/a/a192522d.jpg

Remember X-Pac's reign of terror as Cruiserweight Champion in 1997? 5 minute matches marred with nWo interference? STEROLIZER 04/20/24 10:17:08 PM #24 | StealThisSheen posted... How can you not remember the Villanos? They introduced the famous Villano Switch, where the legal man and the non-legal man would switch places and trick the opponent, without the ref realizing, since they looked alike (outside of the roman numeral on their attire). This was later also used by the Bella Twins. Because of that switch they actually got to win matches on the B-Shows, where El Dandy and the like did the job over and over again. |

Way more than the other low tier luchadors. Their special move was the switch where one would drag the other out of the ring, replace them, and then small package the opponent. It never got old, the Bashams ripped it off years later. |

MIA From Golden Era: Brad Armstrong, Marty Janetty, Jimmy Del Ray, Mikey Whipwreck, El Gato, Johnny Swinger, CIMA, Scott Putzki, Doc Dean, Robbie Brookside, Bobby Walker, & Barry Horowitz although these folks were all over the B-Shows, Im not sure any of these people ever actually won any matches. MIA From Russo Era: AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Kid Kash, Mike Modest, EZ Money, Tony Marmaluke, Shark Boy, Kee Wee, Maestro, Mike Sanders, Violent J, Wolfie D, JC Ice, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Kid Romeo, Air Paris, Paul London, Super Dragon, & Jet Jaguar most of these guys were jobbed out, and Russo pushed Iaukea, Madusa, and Oklahoma instead because hes an idiot |
