Guy, gamers have a right to be entitled. We're customers. We don't have to give any developer the time of the day. The onus is on them to prove their title is worth the price tag.

Of course, this doesn't excuse the behavior of being rude and borderline inhumane to developers. But that's an internet wide problem, not exclusive to gamers.

Shame they killed of Merlin though. I liked him. Wonder if they'll make a third one and have him come back as well.

they wanted to bring back Merlin with prosthetic legs but the actor said that'd make his sacrifice less noble.

Also, Julianne Moore is hot

Huh that's surprisingly dignified of him to care that much about the character.

Indeed. Still want him back though and am expecting that for K3.

Because you have to actually work hard to make money in those jobs. A lot of people when faced with the decision between being lazy and skimping by in life, or working hard and living comfortably will pick the former.

This is nonsense. No one takes intensive jobs unless they have to in order to achieve something. In fact, no one takes on any other more work unless there's an incentive that would motivate them to do so. You don't use a wagon over a car, you don't grow your own vegetables over going to the grocery store, and you surely don't consistently cook your meals over grabbing food at restaurants.

Laborer jobs are for people have no other skills to offer. You're not going to take a dangerous job over a more comfortable, less stressful job unless you want to. And take it from me, someone who pissed off my entire family and friend circle for walking away from a $40K salary job with benefits to go flip burgers. Why? Because I wanted to be a cook.

At the end of the day, I should at the very least, want to be in the same room as her.

And this isn't to say that a good character has to be someone you'd want to be friends with, but the game constantly portrays her in that light of a cool adventurous punk girl that is "hella" awesome to be around and her personality contradicts that notion.

Part of what made me stop being a liberal were the screams to forgive college debt: a loan that an adult takes from a bank. Some people wanted the banks to get stuck paying for thousands of young adults to play around for another few years.

My problem with this train of logic is that, for the past few decades, culture has been very vocal about going to college. Youd have to go out of your way to search for alternative life paths and culture has done a fantastic job making job trades look like second class citizen jobs.

And given how a lot of universities are run for profit, Congress has passed a law to make it illegal to default on student debt years upon years ago, youre playing right into their hand by saying its someones fault they put themselves into student debt.

Cultural appropriation is the dumbest shit I ever heard in my life

There could be a level of it that is actually offensive (maybe).

Wouldn't blackface in a non-ironic situation be pretty awful?

Im half black. I dont care. People look for reasons to be offended, it makes me sick.

Unless someone is intentionally causing harm or denying rights because of prejudice, anything is fair game to me. People need to lighten up. Outrage over every little thing just causes more prejudice all around.

I never knew about the blackface until I came to the states for college and there were posters of the "This is not me and it's not okay" type showcasing it. My first thought was "this guy put so much effort and into his ghetto black dude costume, how can I possibly be offended by such an endeavor?". But then I learned how the black face traditionally was used to mock black folks in the early 1900s on TV.

I know we give actions power, but I'd like to respect history and tread lightly around this as I would with the N word. I'd imagine the motivations as to why someone would make a black face is completely different from back in those days though.

What's your culture?

Black culture! On a small island in the Caribbean!

I could rant about this, but I'll keep it relegated to music. In fact, I'll bring up our 2015 carnival parade, practically every troupe was playing the same blasted song (Destra's Lucy) to tramp down the road with. And half of the music played on the radio (that's not straight hip hop) sound the same. You could say this is just me not liking the genre, and it partially is, but some of this stuff hasn't evolved at all in the past 15 years. Music is an art, but in order to bring in new ideas, you need exposure to new music and the only thing our culture is exposed to (music wise) is hip hop and whatever new mainstream song (that is authorized as enjoyable for black people) is out.

So you'll (probably) never see someone like Nujabes come out from us, who can integrate Hip hop with so many other different genres, as we inherently stifle deviation from the norm when producers like him have constantly listen to new music wherever and whenever they can find it. And so music as popular as house or trance music (in the stateside) is completely foreign to down here.

I can see the point you're making in the first paragraph there, and certainly a lot of white people do hop on a hip hop bandwagon without any real appreciation of it, but it kind of grates me because I listen to hip hop all the time. At home with headphones in. So to have someone who's clearly a lot less interested in music in general tell me that this particular music is not for me (and a white woman to boot) - it just rubbed me up the wrong way.

I was thinking about mentioning what Sarm said, before I saw his post. You'll never hear a mainstream hip hop artist complain about White folks listening to their music because it's a requirement that your music is able to appeal to them (the majority race of the US and Western world) if you want to go big.

In fact, I think one of the greatest honors a musician can have is to have people from any part of the world enjoy his music, after all, music is a universal language.

I like it. It is a good representation of how real life works. Anyone who criticizes this needs a reality check. Sorry, but growing up in a stable family, going to private school, access educational resources, being born wealthy, etc. all give you a head start in life. The people complaining about the vid probably didnt even watch it.

Just what is the purpose of this video. Making people feel bad they weren't born in Africa were enlisted in armies as children? Making people feel bad that they were born with 4 limbs? That they weren't aborted?

He says in the video it isn't intended to do that. But to make people aware of how they may have stabilizing factors in their life that helped them, and others might not have them and to just be aware that not everyone has it so easy, is all.

And how is this helpful?
