Does Wolfe do a good job explaining stuff? I read a little of it back in the day but found it not all that interesting and gave up on it. It's kind of hard to follow because it zips between what the people are doing and what Ken Kesey is thinking with little distinction between which is which. It comes off as a story best told in cinema format more then book. If you're looking for a more descriptive explanation of what being on LSD or hallucinogens in general I'd recommend looking into Terrance McKenna instead. Unfortunately though it turned out to be Sekiro instead. I'm not dissing Sekiro I'm sure it's a fine game its just that I wanted a new Tenchu. Supposedly Sekiro was going to be just that but then it was changed mid development. The Empire wanted to chop off my head because I was walking by a group of people they didn't like. Makes you wonder how many others they've killed because it was more convenient for them. Seriously hey we found this guy in the woods and we don't know who he is. Well we could try and find out but that's hard so let's just loop of his head because we got all these other people to execute and I'm hungry. Then there's the Thalmor who are a combo of the Nazis and Inquisition. The Empire not only works with them but allows them to roam the country side killing whoever they want because they want to wipe out a religion in order to unmake reality. Yeah they seem like a reasonable sort to work with. The Empire is weak and is already dying due to its own incompetence and reliance on a single family line that has already died out resulting in the Empires rapid decline. While Ulfric is a fool he's also just 1 man who thinks he can be king, but Skyrim has a history of killing off foolish kings. --- Son this might be the head wound talking but purple submarine light bulb. |
