I rewatched Tatami Galaxy which made me appreciate it more and saw The Night Is Short for the first time, but I will respect Lefty's wishes to be freed. I'll give up on the rest of my 2010s KyoAni stuff next year, I promise.

Also, is Wonder Egg eligible since it's still a couple episodes away from being finished? If not, I'll replace it with Tatami Galaxy anyway since I don't think anyone has the motivation to save anything else I'd want to nom.

I think a lot of people commenting on this don't know all the context. As shitty as police are, this seems pretty cut and dry and the murder didn't have much to do with specifically police brutality.

What the hell is the obsession with high estrogen levels being bad in the first place? It's hardly ever based on actual scientific data, but I've seen stuff on soy, milk and tofu raising estrogen levels being used in arguments so much by men insecure in their own masculinity

1080 Snowboarding is way better than it has any right to be. Like, accidentally great. Piss poorly explained, but once you figure out how air balance works, you can do whatever the fuck you want at mach speeds.

The horrible music from the character select screen is still stuck in my head. Loved that game as a kid, though.

I think Gen 5 is underrated. There's a lot of stinkers but a lot of the best designs. Same with Gen 4 and Gen 8, compared to the first two gens where almost everything is average to strong with their simplicity.

I remember at the time we did the ranking I understood why all of those are so low, except Binacle. Like, it's actually pretty cool looking and interesting compared to almost all of the others.

Overpopulation is a problem but not the problem. There's a lot of things that are controllable in a far less ethically questionable manner, and if they're solved, overpopulation itself will be less of an issue.

Kyoko isn't great (I forgot her name and referred to her as Boring Girl until about chapter five) but I think she's a little bit better than you ranked her and has good free time events compared to most of the others in DR1 especially

It's not incredibly popular, but it's recent and has a weird concept with a fair few memes, so it's not tooo obscure either

Fuyuhiko isn't dreadful, but he's kinda meh outside of a couple of great scenes. Still better than Akane or Nekomaru. Byakuya is dislikeable, but his presence alone makes the game more entertaining and because of that I like him as a character.

If I recall from the first topic, aren't 2nd and 3rd place actually tied? I think the rule said that the tie is broken by removing highest and lowest rankings?

So essentially this 3rd place movie has only 1 ranking outside the top 10, which is going to be removed because of the tie, and it still isn't enough to come out ahead!?

I'm guessing that one person just absolutely despises it? Every movie left has a 1st place ranking, so that's probably it.

The "it's not ripe" joke is the single least funny thing intended to be a joke in the entire MCU, closely followed by the start of Ant-Man 2.
