Ganondorf is the big one there, and they have since taken some steps to iterate him further from Falcon with each game (to the point where he now uses his sword in Ultimate, ironically as the Ganondorf incarnation who never actually used a sword in his original game). After several years of hard work and support from dedicated fans, you have finally completed what many consider your magnum opus. All of the characters have gotten appropriate if not satisfactory conclusions, and all of the plot threads have been tied up. There is no room for any sort of follow-up, most fans are satisfied with the ending, and you want to move on to other things. However, your studio/publisher/etc. has other ideas. Your work is way too popular--and profitable--for it to end now, and they are demanding more. Not a spinoff or prequel, but an actual continuation of the story from where it left off. They say that if you are not onboard, then they will get someone else to do it instead, but either way, the sequel will be happening. P4 and then P5 changed it so that players had a choice in whether or not the Social Link would become romantic in nature while still allowing them to continue the S-Link regardless.

TMOG posted... Voting Piccolo in this round but let me just say that Moro really could have been a cool villain if they stuck harder to the "ancient galactic wizard" aspect, rather than just basically use those powers to turn him into what was more or less a standard martial artist opponent. He really could have been one of Super's coolest villains or characters in general, but they pissed it away.This was my problem with Gas as well.
