I learned recently that most bullets are left in the body. More than likely if you get shot they wont extract it. Then after many years the body will work the foreign object outwards.

Probably dose too much damage taking it out vs just leaving it in I guess.

Beer usually has very low sugar, as any sugar it has in it during the brewing process is also turned into alcohol.

I had a very hard time convincing people whiskey has no sugar in it. I mean I get don't believe everything you see on the internet but I went to like 3 different websites dedicated to listing nutritional facts about various products and all said the same.

Not necessarily violent. Mine quit when I started giving him shit back verbally and then also when he decided to yank me i let him pull me into him knocking him into the floor. Like I threw my arm out like I was trying to catch myself but let it plant right I'm his chest and shoved him. He fell in the floor qnd I just walked away. It's not about getting violent. They want a easy target usually. Prove you're gonna be a hassle for them they usually give up

Time limits. Even if they're generous time limits, I hate the feeling of being timed. World of Warcraft started leaning heavily on timers when they introduced Mythic+, which is essentially the main method of gearing now.

It sucks. I hate timers. I hated the timer in Majora's Mask, too, even knowing the ocarina could slow it down a lot.

Good luck slowing down on drinking or stopping completely. Sounds like stopping completely is probably best for you, and that's extremely beneficial to realize. It's nice not being tired all the time and shitting weird (at least that's what drinking more beer does to me lmao).

My main goal is cutting it back to just a couple times a month. I still like doing it but this daily shit is killing me literally and figuratively. If I can learn to embrace life without completely though I'm game.

And yeah that's why I'm seeking help. If I drink I wake up feeling like shit from the drinking. I try to not drink I don't get sleep (withdrawls) leaving me still feeling like shit. Both put me in a dangerous situation at work.

I love getting drunk but it's starting to not only impact my personal life but my work life. And I love my job. But hell it's affecting my ability to enjoy my main hobby too, gaming. Tried to handle it myself but I finally had to break down and admit I need help. So rehab it is.

Some of you guys I get along with well seemingly others I've butted heads with but I'm ultimately a to each to their own kinda guy so I have no hard feelings.

Most of yall probably don't care bit I wanted to get it off my chest to people outside my family. Incase anyone didn't already know my username was formerly mooreandrew58

To be honest I'm only stressing boredom (no electronics allowed) and the food. I was shocked I'd be allowed to smoke. Counselor said though yeah it's a bad idea to try to take both away at once. Nicotine patches only help so much. They may give me the nicotine I need but they don't do jack for the mental addiction aspects.

But honestly? I needed a break from work too. Working 71 hours on average a week in a stressful ass environment. It's a running joke that the true mark of a correctional officer is 3 divorces and alcoholism.

20 was a minimum. 45% by volume. Family of alcoholics and been drinking half my life. Tolerance builds.

I think what helped in that regard is 4 lokos while being far weaker fucked me up a lot more. I learned it's cause I'm diabetic so the absurd sugar content was adding to me feeling fucked up. I switched to whiskey cause I had to watch my sugar. According to all the research I've done it shockingly has zero sugar. So while being stronger it was taking more to fuck me up like I was used to.

I've seen some that do it, others need you to do it elsewhere because they can't give medication.

They said it would be all at one place and I'd stay there thr whole time. I about lost it when they gave that time frame but I quickly regained my composure cause I really need this

30 to 40 days is what they said. Two weeks to get it out of my system. 2 to 4 to get me used to being normal sober cause a big problem is getting someone's physical addiction out of the way but the mental addiction is still there.

Excellent decision, and I'm rooting for you to get a handle on it. Addiction is tough, but you can do it. Don't be discouraged if you falter sometimes. Alcoholism is an extremely difficult addiction to overcome, especially since drinking is tied so closely to adult socializing.

I've been a alcoholic twice before. Difference now is how long I've gone and I used weed both last times to "replace" it cause I can quit weed cold turkey without Much of a problem. I work a government job now. Not really a option. I'd still be risking my job.

Honestly I think quitting smoking is harder. I did it once but it only lasted 2 months. But as said previous times I wasn't as heavy into alcohol as I am this time. I'd take a few day break here and there but mainly I wasn't drinking the sheer volume I am now.

Weird to think illegal drugs was far easier to quit. Why the legal shit gotta be worse? Half the reason I started drinking is I turned 21 and decided to ditch weed since it was illegal and drinking was. Quit cough meds easier too and that shit is addictive to the point you are craving the stuff again the moment you start coming down.

Thanks I'll probably end up crying before I'm done for the night. Always been the "manly" man type who doesn't. Was a crybaby as a kid but got drilled into my head to not cry or I'd be made fun of growing up. So I don't. Didn't even cry when people I loved died. But today I've been fighting it all day. Lost it for a few seconds when I called my best friend to let him know he wouldn't hear from me for awhile. Guess I did with him cause he's been struggling the same battle. We live worlds apart it seems but he promised to not drink around me when and if we meet up

Thanks was actually hoping you'd post since we've butted heads before and you've addressed my drinking. Which upset me a little cause I've enjoyed your posts showcasing your fashion sense. Its cool though I needed to hear it. Wasn't how I wanted to hear but and honestly by itself didn't help much. But it was a small part in a culmination of many things making me realize I had a problem.

I do mean a lot of things like even the universe giving me signs. I search even areas at work only officers have access To. Found a book hidden away (we ain't supposed to read at work) and it was a book on battling addiction. Then the other night I feel asleep drunk listening to music. YouTube goes into some random ass Playlist and when i woke up I looked at my phone and saw my chemical romance I'm not ok. I havent listened to them in decades.

Just wish I could find out who at work said they smelled alcohol on me. Pissed me off cause the smell lasts way longer than you are actually drunk but I now wanna tell them thanks even though I'm sure helping wasn't their intention. They woulda talked to Mr first if so. But even trying to get q grip myself I've made improvements. Cut back drastically on my own which has allowed me to make other improvements.

Yeah. I've been talking about doing it. But we got a hurricane coming and they told us to be prepared to be stuck at work for 3 days. Job is considered highly essential. Can't shut a prison down just for a hurricane.

I've drank everyday for 2 years. Past year about 20 shots a day.

Alcohol withdrawals can be ugly so being stuck at work for 3 days sounded scary. Going through withdrawals and expected to babysit inmates? I voiced this concern to my doctor and he said yeah you need to go asap. Was originally gonna be a few weeks.

I'm gonna be away from here awhile. Finally decided to do something about my drinking. Thought I could get a grip myself but finally broke down and admitted I need help.

It's been affecting my enjoyment of my hobbies for ages but I gotta draw the line at it causing me issues with my work. Calling in too much cause got too hammered the night before and I'm pretty strict about not (knowingly anyways) driving with alcohol in my system. That's like the only thing I haven't let booze
affect me on.

Gonna suck but maybe once I'm done I can really try to start enjoying gaming again. I can only play games that ain't big on story or I won't pop in the next day and be lost cause I can't remember what i was doing. I'll have more money for games too. That's a plus.

I don't play the game but I feel all games should have a single player mode. Yeah if it's not your main focus sure don't put a lot of effort into it but still it's nice if say your internet connection is down or say you're drunk and don't want to be a hindrance to the team but yet got a itch to play. Also good for learning the basics tutorials are a thing sure but they tend to line things up and make it super easy.

Plus a single player campaign is always a bonus. Was really my only gripe with the fps shadowrun. Yeah we all wished they stayed a rpg but it was a neat concept for a fps.

Fucking Oblivion. Horrible lighting in the creat a character portion so often they don't look as good as you hoped by the time you see them in full light. Shoulda been a editor mode to let you see them in different lighting.

Anyways I'll name a very specific one. Mgsv last mission. Can't back out of the mission once you start unless you think to Fulton yourself out on a shipping container. It everyone is gonna think of that. I almost gave up on the game cause of that. Plus the sniper tank. Thing had very good accuracy and would one shot you even with just splash damage. I refused to succumb to using chicken hat so this was a struggle for me the first time around

It's kanon. They only gave him a health bar for gameplay reasons, as fans whined that playing as an invincible powerhouse made the games too easy.

They made it hard in other ways. Games was more about finding secret paths. Which the original had too but it wasn't as necessary

I knew wrestling was scripted after seeing Beyond the mat movie. I remember one part where Mick Foley talks about winning the WWF championship where he says he got a call from Vince telling him they were going to have him win the title and when he was going to lose it.

Also the chairs and trash cans are aluminum. As someone who back yard wrestling lemme tell ya. They don't dent or bend that easy. But I think wrestling original idea was that he's guys are superhuman. Which would explain the classic luchador outfits.

When I was a kid, I went to see Hogan vs. Macho Man. I had a blast, my Dad, not so much. He still hasnt forgiven me.

Not sure at what point I stopped watching wrestling, but prior to that, loved me some Rowdy Roddy Piper, Brutus The Barber Beefcake, Tito Santana, etc. etc.

I saw hogan once. Not wrestle though just gave a speech with the wolf pack in the ring with him. I honestly can't remember shit about the WWE even I went to outside literally being able to feel the heat from kanes Pyro. And I was like 23 rows back.

I quit watching for two reasons. Got to where I could predict matches with about 85% accuracy even predicted the outcome of a wanna say 7 or 9 man royal rumble. Then I got tired or Cena being played as a underdog despite having proven he almost always beat the odds

As an American I wish we didnt call it football. Out version of football I mean.

Only times the foot touches the ball are kick offs extra point or last ditch attempt at making some points.

Some people don't have the means to get those high level jobs. Some people do what they do cause they like it.

I like my job though. I'm burnt out cause mandatory overtime has been a bitch for years now but otherwise I love my job. Usually you expect more physical types to work in a prison. Not me I'm a reasonably intelligent person. I rarely get physical. I know and understand policy and just do paperwork if someone is breaking rules.

Truth is you rarely get either in a prison. You get people that wanna sit on their ass do nothing collect a paycheck then bitch when they get chewed out fo not doing their job

Might as well. If it has all the qualities that make it human in mind. This would be milder than asking if you'd stop loving your grandkid for getting cybernetic enhancements. The end result would be kinda the same but one chose it and one didnt.

HHH did what most at the top did, which is do what you can to stay near the top of the card. Beyond some very rare exceptions (like Eddie Guerrero), anyone who gets to the top wants to stay there. Not gonna hold that against him

Guerrero I loved for the fact he made himself a fan favorite for cheating. Like his gimmick was literally cheat 2 win and people loved it.

Nit really cheating imo but one of my favorite moments was him coming out of his boot to escape Kurt angles ankle lock. Reminded me of playing football in our back yard and my brother always wore boots. Someone caught him by his feet in a diving attempt at a tackle and he simply reached down untied his boot stepped out of it and kept running for a touchdown.

I know hogan is technically a shitty wrestler but he's my favorite. He's the only reason i started watching. Was flipping through channels and saw him fighting sting. I recognized him from a movie called surberbon commando I think. So with that I'm also more fond of his Hollywood persona.

I hated Goldberg growing up but once again despite being a shitty wrestler I like him now. I watched him from his start to damn near his end. Favorite theme song for a wrestler

Lastly I wish Bobby Lashley got the push Brock Lesnar did. Brock never entertained me and Lashley has a better physique.

But he's not responsible for them because the lady he banged wanted full control over the kids and that's the utter result.

The sticking point that made me take the guys side was if I remember correctly he had offered to take his kid out but the mother said no. It seems shitty to feed one kid McDonald's and not the others but if he coulda taken the kid out to eat it wouldn't be so bad. The others wouldn't have to watch their sibling eat McDonald's while they where denied.

Yeah mistakes happen and that's a pretty tame mistake for a cop.

I've never been pulled over but I do think cops should have special tickets to give you if they are in the wrong or decide to give you a warning. You know to show to work or whatever if it causes you to be late.

It was decent neighborhood. Just happened to live near a non used warehouse that still had security for whatever reason. Some kids broke in. As said wrong place wrong time. I was walking by on my way back from a friend's house.

The cops in that town harrased teenagers period. We didn't even have a major crime problem outside drug dealing. So I assume the cops where just gung-ho cause they didn't havebmuch going on. Hell had 3 show up when we reported my grandma died.
