You just gotta feel what you feel. Sometimes we expect to react in a certain way and when we don't, we try to force different feelings from ourselves because it's what's "right". You'll be thinking about him but he wasn't a (positive) part of your life for many years, sounds like, and you came to terms a long time ago with that. A death will always have some level of impact on you, but that doesn't mean you have to feel any one way or another.

I think during the death of my own grandfather I was mostly... serene? I don't know if that's the word. I was upset, of course, but he had been so far gone for such a long time, that I couldn't really bring myself to feel much of anything. The person I loved hadn't been there for a while. I felt solemn about it mostly, and it was a time to reflect. I remember him fondly.

Went with Mr. Jefferson. I didn't want to needlessly antagonize David any further, and I didn't want to rope Nathan into the whole mess given his connections until I had all the necessary evidence. Mr. Jefferson felt like the most disposable character in terms of usefulness and impact, and he took it like a champ.

Star Fox Adventures robbed tbh. Combat wasn't amazing or anything, but it also wasn't that bad. The game's atmosphere, incredible soundtrack and wonderful landscapes really makes it a worthwhile experience. Love the character designs.

The worst part of the game was that stupid button masher challenge. Fuck that.

My personal recommendation is you try to make pasta but boil the water with the pasta inside. The result will be a disgusting goopy mess. The people on this show pretend not to know how to fry an egg so this seems adequate.

I forgot about the dumb bottle quest but there were a fair amount of little things to do in the junkyard that made it worth it to walk all over it and explore it. The deer ghost thing, the Rachel/Chloe safe space, Max's musings, sitting on the deck for some thoughts, the cool snapshot of the bus, etc. The time rewind mechanic does feel like a chore sometimes, especially when it's like "thing falls, rewind time so you're ahead of it now". It feels less like gameplay and more like wasting time.

But if the woman has given you plenty of clues she is interested but is still holding back for reasons you are unable to understand, it's only natural for you to try to overcome them. Giving up at the first sign of an obstacle is unattractive. And if it doesn't work, the woman can be firm -- say, by maybe refusing to blow the guy, lol. Women can make reads on men, too; why "chill on the couch" if the dude's intent is obviously sexual? I like to think women aren't total fools.

Hi, I'm super late but:

Traditional Latin American pop of the absolute highest order. I don't know anything about this style of music, but I'm a sucker for flamenco guitar and Cuban rhythms, and on Musas Lafourcade lives up to her reputation as the standard bearer for this kind of stuff. Put this on and make paella for your girl and she'll think you're the classiest motherfucker she's ever seen.

1. Robbed. This album is fantastic.
2. I wouldn't call this anywhere near Lafourcade's signature style; she started off as a pure pop girl before transitioning into more of that "quirky indie pop" during the mid-2000s. This is basically a covers album; the songs are traditional Latin American songs from anywhere between Chile and Mexico.
3. Flamenco is a Spanish music style. This guitar is typical of bolero.
4. Paellas are Spanish as well but I'll forgive you. Just make sure that girl isn't latina haha.
5. Do listen to "Hasta La Raiz" if you liked this and haven't already; it's her best album imo.
