I agree, but it seems less "democratic", which doesn't really bother me ethically here because I feel like it happens to be in the best interests of the country, but that's a slippery slope... I'm just pissed it passed because of fuckery like my passport losing a lot of weight and stuff like people in my family being from different EU countries and now they're like "uhh... thanks for that" and not sure what their future will hold.

Death threats should carry mandatory minimum jail sentences. Saying "omg, I wanna kill you right now" when somebody is being goofy or annoying shouldn't count, but if it's done to harass or intimidate somebody, lock 'em up. Not even for long. 30-60 days should be enough to scare most keyboard warriors, etc. into watching themselves. Ones that are beyond harassment and are going to be followed through with should obviously carry harsher punishments, but I think they already do anyway.

DLC needs a lot of fine-tuning. Some of it is a fantastic value, like South Park's FbW stuff, but then you get online maps locked behind a paywall or endings sold separately and it's just a mess.

That was a part of the problem with Edward VIII's choice of spouse, which led to his abdication and then Britain entering WWII when it otherwise may not have under his reign. Agreed. I was all happy when they showed the first reveal trailer, but everything since has made it seem shittier and shittier. Episodic and real-time JRPG combat are deal-breakers on their own most of the time for me, let alone combined.

Yeah, they're perfectly fine you like the formula. The controls are okay within the context of being touch, but aren't as good as a real controller. I bought 1-6, Tactics WotL, and Dimensions (?) and think they're fun. I also have DQ 4-6 and 8.

A really underrated JRPG that translated way better than you'd think is Lunar: SSS. I like that you have a separate part of the screen for buttons so you're not putting your thumbs where you're also trying to see. I'd recommend it and Chrono Trigger most of all, probably.

But yeah, turn-based stuff works just fine on iOS, at least for me.

Yeah. For me, the annoying thing is that my smile doesn't translate. I can look in a mirror and smile normally and take a picture and I look miserable, and I'm like "wtf I was smiling. Why in the pic am I not?" This means that to actually have a visible smile in a pic, I have to exaggerate it so much that it looks fake to me.

Oh, yeah. Smiles are totally off the table for me in pics. A few do exist and they are actually okay, but I tend to never do it. I have really nice teeth too, so it's a shame. The curse of vanity, I guess, haha
