I'm in a lot of people's POE. Saying that the votes on me weren't on scum is an assumption to a lot of people right now

I did go ISO you to see if you called me town anywhere else today but you didn't.

You didn't call me scum or put me in your POE anywhere either though.

It did, but there were some people when it first started happening who were just shrugging and selling 'corrik will be corrik'. If a couple more people had that mind set it could have worked.

If I'm scum and I know wallz was blocked via roleblock, I know wallz is already dying day 2 unless it was an untargetable that can roleblock on interaction instead of "failed". Etc. There was no possible way to 1 for 1 there. Even without the roleblock claim by Kirby, Blade simply lives by saying nuh uh and everyone else simply going "corrik you know the kill coulda been stopped multiple other ways right it doesn't mean you did it".

So the scum logic is 'oh shit, wallz is so dead. Well, let me claim something crazy and cause some chaos to try to distract the game. We can argue that 'well Corrik does crazy shit' afterwards to try to keep him around.

If Blade was town power who knew he wasn't roleblocked, how would you expect him to respond and what would be different than how he actually responded to you, Corrik?

I feel the majority will not agree with me here but I want to say for the record I have no qualms about ending the day today. I think things are going to stagnate.

Plus, like, Corrik always wants to feel like he's the smartest one. But if he was lynched by Chang over Wallz yesterday while still insisting that his flip would damn Blade and they he flipped town vanilla we'd all be laughing at him today.

Yes, Corrik is frustratingly stubborn at times, but go back and re-read his day 2 play with it in mind that he's a vanilla and this is all a bluff. It doesn't really track.

One thing I'll say about corrik is in the last Lea game I played, he was scum and I was town. We had kind of similar roles that were meant to mirror each other. He was so certain that I must be lying because my role was too close to his that he just went full on to try to get me lynched, harping on how he KNOWS I'm lying and how he's telling the truth because he convinced himself of it

I kind of think this might be happening again. For whatever reason, scum Corrik has convinced himself that his role works the way he thinks it should work and that he's telling the truth and Blade MUST be lying because of it.

I tried to stay away from the knightz stuff I did read because it made me uncomfortable and I felt wouldn't lead to a good place for the community. I didn't read all of day 1 but the sheer amount of people just saying he was certain scum was odd because I wasn't sure where the certainty of it was coming from. Then add in an underage user supposedly related to him or something and then him being a school age kid. I didn't feel comfortable wading into those waters. I felt confident on wallz at that time and if I had a shot would have shot wallz there. Lol

I don't think it was impossible for scum to sacrifice wallz to buy knightz at least one night

I think they got greedy by trying to push me instead to save both knightz and wallz

Defending yourself is always lol but I'd like to point out I was heavily sus of both knightz and wallz d1 and knowing both their powers now scum me could've pretty easily have been pushing for wallz more but instead I was consistently voicing that between the two of them I would lynch Knightz

Knightz surviving just one night would give scum two scan results and be an absolute huge boon.

I think I trust his claim that he's hinting at but even without that yeah, the way that he's treated both Knightz and Wallz would have me trusting him today.

For the record, as unfun as I found this role I understand using it and ultimately you're going to be lynching who I was voting for and we now have you as confirmed town, so really I think this was a successfully day.

Reminder that Corrik hasn't actually claimed and only claimed an action - since he's saying he has no problem with Kirby's claim co-existing with his, it seems he isn't claiming a full time roleblocker.

Does that prevent Corrik from lying about his role as he is well known for doing as either alignment?

I support lynching Wallz not because I'm convinced that the NK was stopped by the jailkeeping (although it's possible) but because he claimed confirmable D1 to get pressure off of himself as a backup.

I agree with what whoever said earlier that if he is Scum Backup he could get access to Knightz OP role and I don't want that to happen.

Imagine thinking that town has two roleblockers and they blocked the scum kill and the SK on N1
