Wtf? This is horrible.I would've agreed back when the site banned people on a hair trigger, but these days bans are far harder to get for the most part. Even taking the questionable moderation practices at times into account, you're far more likely to just get warned or purg'd. A mod confirmed it on Discord the other day. If you're using an alt to post while your main is in purgatory or worse, the alt will be suspended too. And yes, this also means banned is banned, you aren't allowed to come back on a new account anymore. They confirmed that warned does not get treated the same way; that alts are still fine to use as long as your main isn't purg'd or worse; and that using an alt to access CE if your main has lost access is fine subject to the previous note. --- I fought the Trumble and the Trumble won. |

Spotify can be helpful, where if you choose a certain artist's mix, you'll get other artists in the same genre/with a similar sound.This. My tastes are pretty unpredictable, and Spotify has done a better job than humans do of finding stuff that fits. Actually being underage or plausible claims of it would get you blocked (but with a chance to restore your account by proving your age); but clear jokes were fine. And yes, someone specifically asked if that means the "I'm 12 and what is this" meme would mean you get hit again, and yes, it does. Not a fan of the rules on political topics (keep them off game boards is fine; but limiting them to only CE rather than all social boards is excessive) or the ban on warned / suspended topics.
