Otherwise it'll get upheld no matter how ridiculous it is; the most blatant example being when I replied to a topic (made by someone else) that had a censor bypass in the title, having no censor bypasses in my post, and it got not only moderated, but upheld, and then upheld again by admin. --- Give a man a Trumble, you feed him for a day. Sterilize it without cooking it, somehow (gamma radiation perhaps)? You'll be fine. I suppose theoretically, assuming the bacteria in question aren't some immune-evading superbug, you could probably train your immune system by exposing it to quantities that aren't significant enough to cause a serious illness (this would essentially just be an extremely low-tech form of vaccination, really). Of course, this relies on the assumption that the next piece of raw meat you eat won't have some entirely different pathogen your immune system hasn't encountered yet.
