However, using a source with a known reputation for being unreliable only does favors for the other side. "Look. They're using sources like Daily Beast. You don't need to take them seriously."

The actual % is probably similar. But there's far more people, so (in terms of raw numbers) far more attractive people simply due to the larger sample size.

Assuming the suspension didn't cancel his access. Closing your account does, suspensions may work similarly. (Yes, it's not what admins have said, but they said only purg, nothing about close. It's possible it's a side effect of how GameFAQs is coded that they weren't aware of.)

I doubt they're going to mod anyone for a genuine mistake. Unless the user can show a history of correcting *you* on it (and even this one is iffy tbh, because not everyone pays attention to usernames; although the flip side is anyone who doesn't pay such attention should probably be defaulting to "they" rather than "he" when referring to other users) or has it somewhere unmissable like their sig, you probably won't get hit for a case like that I'd think.

Charging for the time they were actually there is one thing. Iffy but understandable. Charging for the time they don't actually serve is pure corruption.

The wording of that rule hasnt changed so presumably neither has the situation in practice. This has always been one rule that has been pretty clear - general discussion of the subject (including legal status) or a celebrity's use of drugs is fine, talking about your own personal use is not (but will rarely get more than an NKL), and setting up deals is waaaay crossing the line. Discussing fictional use is also acceptable.

Alcohol and tobacco have always been exempt, but other legal substances - even ones with a similar long history in some cultures, such as kava - are not.

I notice you're being deliberately vague about which timezone.

The only time suspensions result in anything less than purg, unless they were mistakes, is if it's a violation in the user's profile. Admin intervention is needed to remove the offending content hence the suspension, but it'll often then be downgraded to just a warning.
