I'm having a serious problem with the lack of Donkey Kong Country 2.

I don't think the show is great for it's humor. I think it's more about it's political and social commentary. I only just started watching it, but for instance, Hank utters the line, "What kind of country is this where I can only hate a man if he's white?" Which is something that is just as relevant today as it was back then.

Yikes, these are two of my favorites as well. I think I give a slight edge to Jurassic Park, as it has more memorable moments, along with one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever.

When I went a few years ago I was recommended the Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom. I'd say the food there was pretty fantastic. And they had this smoothie drink which I forgot the name of that was really really good as well.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone is buying these things. It's like their entire design philosophy is to take a problem that doesn't exist and try to solve it. Everything about these cars scream impractical. How they tricked the world into thinking they're something worth owning is beyond me.

I played this game a few years ago and was loving it until I got to the very end and realized you HAD to collect all those teddy bear creatures throughout the game. It wasn't optional. So basically I would have had to play through the entire game again to get them. Such a dumb design decision. So I never actually beat it.

No, the ones going 25 would be creating the danger. Reckless driving is determined by your speed relative to the general flow of traffic. That's why driving slow can still earn you a ticket even though there's no official speed minimum.

The lack of speed limit isn't relevant. The citation should be for reckless driving. Traveling three times faster than every other car on the road is inherently dangerous.

Because obesity isn't contagious, mostly. Not that "there are zero measures to prevent obesity" is a remotely factual statement. There are extensive anti-obesity measures being taken, including regulations on serving sizes (which have often been shot down by people that gobbled up industry propaganda like it was a 2-for-1 special on deep fried butter), pretty extensive health promotion campaigns, efforts to improve school lunches (remember when all the kids got mad at Michelle Obama because they wanted more cheeseburgers?), the mere existence of gym class... If you don't think anything's being done to combat the obesity epidemic, you haven't been paying attention.

What I mean by zero measures is that there's no laws preventing you from refilling your soda cup more than once. Regardless of what they serve at school lunches, you can still go home and stuff your face full of Twinkies. The point is these people ultimately still have a choice of how to live their lives, despite the amount of harm they're doing to themselves. Also, obesity can be contagious in the sense that children of obese parents are incredibly likely to pick up their same habits.

Also, this is just speculation on my part, but if people in this country had better eating habits and actually used face masks consistently, we would never have suffered the amount of losses that we did. Take a country like Japan for example, where obesity is rare and everybody wears a mask. Their case to death ratio is .006%, whereas the U.S. is .01%.

So basically, this country has issues, and Covid is just exposing some of them. Trying to mandate this particularly vaccine isn't going to fix the underlying issue. What it really does is set a dangerous precedent moving forward. You have people supporting the denial of medical treatment for unvaccinated patients. What if somewhere down the line your health insurance decides not to cover something that they believe you could have prevented? There's countless things to consider and it's not the black and white issue people make it out to be.

So is this like a remaster? I never got too far in the original but I don't recognize a lot of those levels. I'm hoping it's all new content.

And here's the other side of the argument that everyone ignores...

Covid doesn't kill indiscriminately. Certain demographics are considerably more prone. The vaccine however is designed as a one-size-fits-all solution, which is never ideal when it comes to medical treatments. There are certain demographics that face higher risks with the vaccine than others. The odds are low, but there's still risk assessment. There's also the reality of potential long term side effects. Despite what anyone says, there's no certainty here. Just consider last year these vaccines were supposed to prevent infection. Now they merely mitigate the side effects. We do not have complete information.

So in the face of this uncertainty, why should people by deprived of their right to make their own choice? Pro-Choicers have been parroting the "my body my choice" mantra forever now. How come we don't apply it here?

To make a simple point, illnesses derived from obesity is still the leading cause of death in this country. But there are zero measures in place to prevent obesity. Ask yourself why.

Extreme wealth is overrated. Once you live a lavish lifestyle for a while, it just becomes ordinary. The joy it brings will quickly dissipate and you'll find that your mental and emotional state will return to what it once was. Saving countless lives is a richer gift than any amount of money can buy.

I'm happy to see PotD attracts people from all walks of life.

Academic proficiency is not an indication of intelligence. You can memorize an encyclopedia and still be a complete idiot. True intelligence requires a sense of humility and the ability to accept that we will never have all the answers. Any claims about dismissing the possibility of a higher plane of existence is a demonstration of ignorance. We have five senses that allow us to study our world. It's sheer arrogance to assume these are the only tools needed to make definite declarations regarding the mysteries of space and time.

My point is just proven again. This generation lacks any critical thinking, any semblance of articulation. Everything is just childish insults and quips. There's really no hope left. Perhaps future generations will look back and pinpoint where it all went wrong.

I think it's Crono. Ganondorf/Sephiroth were finalist in a villains contest. Zelda and Samus were in a female contest I think. Snake was in the finals against Draven. L Block won a contest. Mario was in a finals against Link in the first contest I think. So I think that leaves Crono. I think.

I don't know what happened to this generation. We're reaching a point where you can't share opinions at all. I don't know how people's emotions have become so fragile that a mere mention of one's thoughts can stir you into a raging maniac. People have become so weak-minded and it shows. And I fear it's only going to get worse. Imagine the day where you can no longer admit your favorite color is blue...because of the implications. I still can't get enough of the time white people tried to get Speedy Gonzales canceled and real Mexicans had to be like, back off, we actually like the show.

These people are just a disease.

I want Final Fantasy sets. Since they have a deal with Blizzard based on Overwatch, why not do StarCraft too?

I don't think they could top some of the fanmade stuff that's been done. There's some crazy good Siege Tank builds out there that would make everything else feel inferior.

I'm playing through this for the first time now. It's one of those games that really nails the unsettling atmosphere. Probably helps that for some reason there are no pedestrians seen at all in NYC, during Christmas time no less.

Having just replayed it, I can say it holds up really well. It's biggest flaw is that it drowns you in rupees and gives you nothing meaningful to spend them on.
