I'm determined to finish DOOM II today... I am on map 24.

I will say, I've been extremely tempted to turn down the difficulty from Hurt me plenty... Not even because it's been too hard, but so that way I'm not as frustrated and have an easier time going through the mazes each map turns out to be.

I use Google Docs which works fine for me, on the rare occasion I need to use it.

But yeah, licenses are expensive!

Oh, yeah I didn't expect either nomination to get chosen, but am excited for Nobody Saves the World! Have heard nothing but good things, and was planning on starting it with my cousin regardless.

I've never heard of Rainbow Billy, but it looks neat. I may end up giving it a try.

On map 13 of DOOM II. Hoping to beat it this weekend, but we'll see. Each map is taking me at minimum like 15 minutes at this point, and I'm sure that doesn't count dying and reloading saves.

Beat Whittleton Creek in Hitman tonight for the first time. It's a smaller level but I really like the suburbia setting.

That was one of my favorite levels. It was simple, but really out there from the rest of the levels.

The story wasn't as good as I and the bosses weren't as memorable, but the gameplay was the best in the series. Way better than II in all aspects.

On the last Hitman 1 level. I actually didn't realize how quickly the levels could be beaten in! Definitely want to replay through some of these, but probably will wait until later in the month to do that.

Traded in my One S for a Series S so that I can play DOOM II in the the best possible quality Actually, my xbox one controller was starting to have buttons that were sticking, and it was more cost effective to do this than getting a new controller

Shantae & the Pirate's Curse

This is my favorite Shantae entry, so excited to eventually get your thoughts on it if/when you play it.

Also, I was messing around with the schedule feature of Steam & gave up, so that's why they were at different times!

Metalmind got me Celeste, and the Hitman 2 & Hitman - GOTY Legacy Pack all of which I am downloading now!

Celeste I don't know a lot about other than it being a difficult platformer, and is really good from what I hear. Platformers are my favorite genre, so super excited to try this one out! Don't know what to expect, but sure to be a great time.

The new Hitman games were always games that always looked just plain fun, and I've always wanted to try them out and now I can! There's recently been super high praise on the series in a podcast I listen to, so that had me even more interested.

Abacus has beaten Doom (1993)

Yeah, the episodes slowly got worse as they went. E1 and 2 were pretty good, but then 3 was way too complicated/intricate for what it needed to and 4 was just way too unfair. The first two levels & last two levels especially. The middle levels were actually kind of easy, and quick to run through.

I am glad I played it though, and overall enjoyed it for what it was.

As for my last nomination, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance

22, but that's because I have anxiety more than anything.

Oh, I was unaware of that! I'll leave it up to KCF to decide. Either way I'll end up beating Episode 4... Probably

Episode 4 Dear god this one is so unfair feeling, and I've only done 2 levels so can't wait to see what the rest has in store. So far it's the only one that makes me wish I wasn't playing on the default difficulty.

My general plan is usually buying a game near the top of person's list, additional games from a list, and then a surprise or two outside of the list. I do go for a quantity approach but since we all know that price does not equal quality, I don't feel like I am sacrificing anything and go for both quantity and quality.

Pretty much the same. I try to go for a game on the list that I know they'd like, and then one that I like that I'm hoping they like.

I tend to keep my wishlist fairly cleaned up.
