This is more or less the reasoning I gave when I pronounced Brawl dead here in Oregon. Melee acually outdraws Brawl here, and by significant (percentage-wise, all of our numbers are just LOL-low at this point). There's no reason for new players to get in because the game is such a change for them and they have no desire to put time in. Semi-competitive players will never get good enough to matter and get tired of pot-filling. Top players get bored with no competition. And for everyone the game has a viewer-entertainment value equal to diarrhea so there is literally 0 hype for anything not national and transcending regions. I've won over a dozen brackets in the last 12 months, and literally no one is watching that crap. People get their mediocre placing, play some friendlies, leave. That gets tiring after a while and then they just stop showing up altogether.

I've always thought it was dumb that Brawl gets hate for not being designed for compeitive play in a worse way than Melee was. Melee players don't realize that a lot of the stuff they like was not intended and they just got lucky.

And yeah, competitive Brawl is full of s***heads that think they know everything and truly understand competitive gaming and they think they're in the upper echelon. They don't realize competitive Brawl means absolute dick in terms of professional gaming, or how dumb and immature the community is. There's a lot of times I wish I wasn't so good at Brawl. I'll defend the game all day, but as a collective whole, f*** the community.

Two nobodies playing a match I'm sure was mid-bracket with the most boring character MU there probably is doesn't speak for the entirety of competitive Brawl. I mean UMvC3 is my favorite game to watch, and Chris G SOUL FISTing a grand final makes me want to kill myself.

I know all of that and think it's pretty basic. However I'm 26 and feel like I could get my ass handed to me with some 80's cartoons.

Speaking of which I remember watching the Mighty Max cartoon. I recall him being a smart-ass Peter Parker type, with a Brock Samson type warrior/defender/guardian. That's about it.

They'll probably swap out 6 or 7 characters, and if they follow through with their better gameplay mantra then everyone has the sequel they wanted. No one except the truly competitive players are gonna play this as religiously as a lot of us played Melee, so I don't understand why people can't look at it objectively and realize they're going to get their value's worth. Melee will never happen again. It made all the innovation, and thrived during a time without a lot of online gaming or these huge blockbuster games being constantly released. Yet everyone wants each Smash to be a 6 year time wasting juggernaut. Accept the game, acccept the gaming environment. Even it it turns out to be what everyone wanted, you're all gonna move on much quicker than you did with Melee. It's no longer novel, and most gamers are insatiable.

I think Benneteau decided to use the 3rd to regroup himself mentally and physically after getting broken to start. Try to make Roger work more than you, then just try to overwhelm I the 4th with the same stuff that got you there. He might stand there and let 4 aces go by in this next game.

Kobe would have not only been legitimately hurt, but twice as bad as LeBron was trying to fake, then crawled out there and pushed Andrew Bynum out of the way for his 10th rebound to get his triple-double like a true champion.

Btw, I say all of this as someone who's (basically) unemployed and receiving maximum food stamp benefits. I don't honestly think this particular issue is any kind of "poor" issue. It shouldn't be taxed anyway, but it's not some nourishing bottle of human health. It's pop (soda), it shouldn't be your main source of fluids.

I agree that all tapwater should be of higher quality than it is in most places (I live in Portland, OR, so I'm kinda spoiled for public water and I'm fully aware, so I won't tell people tapwater is the end all solution). If you're going to tax every source of liquid nourishment, then your water should be flowing perfectly drinkable and downright tasteless.

Yeah zfg is good for OoT/MM (I liked him during the warp to the end of OoT craze).
Trihex is whatever. He never gets close to the record and I have to have half the screen dedicated to his flabby shirtless body.
RingRush is fun, for some reason despite never having played through most of DK64 I just enjoy him running.
If you can ever find good speed running of Super Metroid or better yet, Super Metroid bingo, it never gets old to me.

Any time anything is taxed or price-raised it always "affects" the poor the most because of the percentage increase it is against their income. The media then writes that story except about <insert product or service here>.

It's stupid and I'm tired of that story being run on ridculous stuff. Pop costing more will not cripple the poor. Gas prices....maybe, but stop with frivolous sugar drinks destroying the lower-class.

The dumbest thing about psych majoring is its the most common degree out there. Not only is it a field that requires (usually) at the very least a Masters to do anything, but you've also got more people with your useless degree than any other. So when you jump out into the world with your BA in Psychology, you should be ready to get smacked down hard by the world. There should be a 2 day class prerequisite for psych. majors about how their degree is useless outside of getting into grad school.

I completely agree that the some of the degrees/job aspirations are stupid to put it bluntly. I mean I have a Social Science degree, and when people asked what I majored in, I say "Social Science, because I hate money." I'm fully aware that the frame my degree is in out values the actual degree. If you get a bachelors in PAINTING and are astounded you can't find work, I'm astounded you don't drown in the shower.

There were also those in that story that had legitimate beef: anyone with an MBA or a PhD in anything has beef. That guy working construction with a PhD in Industrial Chemistry or whatever is a champion for. It killing himself. But if you have a bachelors in liberal arts, shut up. In the business world you basically have a really expensive and slightly more prestigious high school diploma.

Oh and I minored in philosophy, and I'll tell you that having professors that know philosophy is WAY better than learning it on your own or through some secondary subject. It's really easy to "philosophy wrong" and professors are great at being able to steer you in the right direction, and even help you skip over common mistakes that most people including themselves made. I mean 10 weeks from a philosophy doctor in a the subject of your choice, or trying to do it on your own? I don't understand why philosophy is suddenly different than any other subject when it comes to how to learn it. No one studies Sociology on their own and claims to be an expert. Philosophy PhDs basically have no choice but to go into academics, so why not get lessons from the best there are out there?

So The Legend of Korra Facebook page may have shot my theory of Amon just being some guy named Amon theory. They posted the link to the last episode on iTunes and said, "keep thinking to yourself, 'who is Amon?'"

They're probably not asking us to solve an impossible mystery. There's a connection somewhere to somebody that we're probably going to be quite familiar with. One of my favorite theories is the one where he's the anti-avatar created when Aang was killed in the avatar state, almost his Nobody if you will.

"Quantitative Reasoning" as they called it. It was a lot of logic based math as compared to advanced algebra, etc. I only went as high Geometry in high school and MTH 105 in college and I was 82nd percentile. Therefore "math" is not how I'd describe it.
