I don't know if this counts as "interesting" but I really like ice cream cakes from DQ. Cookie cakes are cool too

Cookie cakes are good. The closest DQ to me has 50-60% off ice cream cakes the day before Thanksgiving, so that's what I tend to bring to the family Thanksgiving.

It's the Brewers I am not shocked that he was the centerpiece of the trade. I get news emails from the Brewers and they tried to make it seem like this is the trade that will help us.

I have a Bernie Brewer bobblehead with him on the throne wearing a crown. Ozzie Smith was one of my favorite players as a kid. I don't think that bobblehead looks much like him though.

We had all that shaving chat a little while back so now I'm here to say that my Harry's razors trial pack came in. I have now shaved with a manual razor and gel for the first time in my life and... It's great! My skin feels baby smooth

I've tried both electric and manual and always felt manual leaves me with a smoother shave. I do shave my head with an electric razor and finish it with a manual to get it smooth.

I would suggest checking out a used sporting goods store. Some of them even have new stuff at discount prices because they recieved overstock from companies. I paid about $150 for my first set at a sporting goods store. About 20 years after I bought them, the bag is still in great shape but I had to replace over half the clubs. I usualy will replace the clubs I need with ones I find at a used sporting goods store or sometimes at rummages.

I was thinking this. When I worked at McDonalds (mid 90s) we didn't sell Hawiaan Punch, but those lines would tell the workers where to fill the ice up to.

Yeah I'm hesitant to mod my SNES too just in fear of brickage even though it would rule to play the Home Improvement game on there.

For NES, it's pretty lame honestly they have Tecmo Bowl instead of Super Bowl so that's an important fix. RBI Baseball and Blades of Steel should be in the original version too.

Yeah I love Super Bowl. The summer after it came out a group of the neighborhood kids would go to one kid's house where his parents were gone all the day and spend all day every day playing a season. We would all pick a couple of teams each.

I could be playing my NES Classic I just bought, but eh, I don't really know that there's anything I want to play. I've already played the major classics like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man and Castlevania, and then everything else seems like it's a tier or more below.

@SkynyrdRocker are you playing yours? Have you played much of these games before? I don't really know what your NES history is.

I also just got one recently. I have played many of the games before and played a bit from each game now. Even though I've beaten several of these many times I find myself playing Punch-Out and Tecmo Bowl most since getting the classic.

Really easy to get one this time. I was running errands yesterday morning and decided to see if they had some at Target. The website showed in stock so I went there and picked one up. Every Target in my area showed in stock.

Same here. The target I got mine at had the display case fully stocked and despite having a line of about 20 people that morning they still had a stock over 30 of them, according to the person working in the electronics area.

When I was a kid and I saved up my money for months to get a game, you better believe I played the crap out of those games whether they were good or not. I stupidly bought Bubsy 3D and the terrible port of San Francisco Rush on PS1, and even though I knew they sucked as a kid, I played them anyways. It was also a good feeling to find hidden gems you wouldn't have played if you didn't waste your money on it.

I'm not saying today is worse, because more variety is a good thing, but I think there's too many good and cheap games available that there's less satisfaction when you get a new game. For me, at least. If I don't like the game, I can turn it off and play one of 50 other games I heard were good and that I got on sale.

I bought Star Wars Masters of the Teras Kasi, that was a horrible game. I also bought Alundra that same year, and I agree it was worth the risk of a bad game in order to find a hidden gem.
