I think the crux of the matter is that of course the movie could be made today, its not breaking any laws. Good luck getting enough funding for it and big named actors though.

Well, I wasn't talking about physical filming location so much as they just didn't really do anything to make it feel like a classic Gotham City. 1 definitely did this the best, especially when it comes to the Narrows or the undercity where Falcone hangs out. But 2 and 3 both just feel like "Anywhere, USA, 2008/2012."

Gotcha, I've been to Chicago many times so I could tell the city in 3 felt like a totally different city from 2.

I legit can't wait for this game, the first one was the best recommendation I've gotten from the Internet since Arrested Development.

The current incomplete game is already better than 99% of all other games. Can't wait for them to release the Olympus level in the surface path.

It's actually one of my criticisms of the Nolan films. Though I much preferred them overall to every other Batman films, in 2 and 3 Gotham was just Chicago.

Only the 1st and 2nd Nolan films were primarily in Chicago. 3 was primarily filmed in Pittsburgh.

The shows dark and depressing tones really make the positive moments stick out. The moment when Bojack and Mr. PeanutButter finally have their "crossover" episode was rather heartwarming.

I'm really not interested in the concept of space babies, reminds me of that god awful Baby Geniuses movie and its really killing my desire to watch the episode. I think I might just skip it and watch the 2nd episode which sounds way more interesting.

She had a presentation on sustainability and it had a Moana theme. Everyone was partially in costume. Hula skirts over slacks, one guy had temporary tattoos. She had the best part of the speech and painted herself green and went as Te Fiti. The green accented makeup she used at first wasn't bad but when applying it, she ended up applying it all over her face, like a member of the Blue Man Group. The green paint was way darker than expected. She knew it was a mistake but took so much time she did the whole presentation in green face. She was reprimanded the next day.

I don't see how she could be arrested for this unless you live in a country with really weird draconian laws.

The main character uses their mastery of the arcana to reach the end of Tartarus and there is an unnecessary hot springs scene along the way.

Wrath I have always found to be overrated for the most part, turning Arthas into a clown that just showed up in every zone to laugh at you.

Arthas was a Saturday morning cartoon villain. They even gave him a Dr. Claw voice. (The Lich King previously had a voice that merged Arthas and Nerzhul, but they ditched that for the generic deep voice).

Maybe it is just my play style, but in general, the axe seems way stronger than the other weapons.

Vanilla, it had the best world. It felt most like an actual place. The game became more "theme park" like as time went on. Vanilla was also great because you weren't the "chosen one".

There are clearly some early access placeholders (such as the all the keepsakes you get looking generic and at least 2 characters have generic placeholder art) but the gameplay is very solid and it has at least as many levels as the complete original game.

I had a really good run and totally cleared area 3 the first time after I killed the boss in area 2 (It was my 7th run). Unfortunately, didn't make it to the boss of area 4 because Eris puts a curse on you that makes you take insane damage by the end of the area, I'm guessing this happens if the game thinks you are progressing too fast.

Played for about an hour and half and the gameplay is great. I like how it seems much more methodical than Hades 1 which was more twitched based gameplay.

The characters and story seem kind of off though. They seem ever so slightly more Whedon-esque than the characters from the first game.

It seems like the video is imply Ukraine doesn't deserve aid. (@ 1:00)

Some people are saying this is an even larger disaster than The Last Jedi.

It really is dumb. Its bad world building that makes it look like everything in the world revolves around the main characters.

I'll be honest, I don't really disagree (except for the Danny Elfman score). The film is pretty dull, and while Jack Nicholson is, himself, great, his joker was nothing special. Most jokers feel unique and twisted in their own special way; his was a generic mob boss with maybe a couple jokes, and a catchphrase that could have made him one of the Wet Bandits.

The Joker in the movie was certainly hard carried by Nicholson being really good in the role.

Don't know what Gunn is thinking about with the score though, it is simply great.

Sony trying to have their cake and eat it too. The game is in part super popular because it can be played by nearly anyone across the world. Sony gets hungry for user data and it backfires tremendously.

Caitlin Clark is insanely popular, especially for a WNBA player. Her jersey was the fastest selling jersey for a drafted player ever until Caleb Williams (who is another generational college player, but he was drafted in the super popular NFL to one of the most popular teams). She is also selling out games in a league that struggles to sell tickets. No shit she will be promoted more than anyone else if she keeps doing this.
