Only 12 people have ever won the million dollars, and 11 of them were from 2003 or earlier. There has literally only been one person who won the million in the past 20 years and the show has been on in some form almost the entire time.

| YellowSUV 06/03/24 12:00:05 AM #1 | This is probably really obvious, but I just had the epiphany the that Persona 3 was highly influenced by Evangelion.
The main character starts the game as a loner closed off from the world like Shinji, he even use headphones to block himself out from the world. Aigis is essentially a Rei like character, someone who isn't "truly" a human but learns to be one as the game goes on. SEES is similar to NERV. An organization dedicated to eliminating a threat caused by a science experiment gone wrong, but the leader knows doing so will cause a catastrophe they plan to use for their own gain. Ryoji is Kaworu, a being that appears after all the shadows/angels are defeated and gives the main characters some hope when they are at very low points. Bonus points for Reload adding in a piano scene that kind of evokes the 3rd rebuild movie. The manipulative leaders of SEES and NERV unceremoniously die and never get to see their plan go through after Aigis and Rei stop obeying them. (Although Gendo succeeds in the TV show's ending, he doesn't even get to experience instrumentally in End of Evangelion). After Nyx if sealed, the characters are standing around in space in a scene that looks visually similar to the infamous "congratulations" scene in Evangelion. Thanatos looks similar to an EVA if you ignore the coffins that surround it. The first scene he appears in he even seems to go berserk. I think the following are most likely stretches for influences but will mention them anyway. Yukari is similar to Asuka, Mitsuru to Misato, and Junpei to Toji. --- We all live in a Yellow SUV! a Yellow SUV! |

Its now probably the biggest art form and type of entertainment for the world. Compare that to 20-30ish years ago when it was a fairly niche thing.

My first car was a used car that wasn't even 9 years old when I got it and it ran into various issues the few years I owned it. My second car was bought new and I've had for about 18 years and it still runs rather well in part because I take of it and don't abuse it when I drive. I wouldn't gamble on a used car because of how rough and absent minded the average car owner is, especially with how expensive used cars are today.

I was shocked to see it when I opened Netflix. I was like, didn't this movie just come out? The movie is 6 months old. Seems like or normal or fast time to be released on a streaming service, really slow for a home release of a movie though. My guess is Trump managed to get to one of the Jurors through intimidation and bribery and they are happy because they found out they had succeeded. Just a guess though. I wouldn't doubt it if they tried. Mari is actually instrumental for everyone getting a good ending this time around. Watch the rebuild again and watch how she needles people and points them in the right directions and gives them the push they need to do the right thing. While overall the cast is more mature and able to deal with the bullshit that the rebirth gives them each time, Mari is still needed in the end, particularly in 2 and 4. That makes sense, but it kind of makes her seem like a Mary Sue.
