Around half the pokedex entries in Sword and Shield try to build an ecosystem by always mentioning a pokemon's rivalry with another pokemon species, or how it's prey to this other pokemon, etc.

Not sure how I feel about it. I appreciate them trying to connect the world better, but sometimes the entries just sound cringeworthy.

Could be the opposite. There were 3 empty treadmills in between this other guy and me. But this girl has to take the one next to me. And then starts to run faster and longer than me.

Pretty sure she was asserting dominance to make me feel small and weak.
I go to a gym where some supposedly famous instagram fitness people attend (I don't know/recognize any of them, just what some friends have told me).

It's already an upscale-type gym, but the girls there can be savage. They're not the type to just leisurely walk on the treadmill while reading a book or chatting it up. They do full sprints and spend a decent amount of time in the free weights area doing squats and stuff at high weights.

But the craziest thing is they seem to compete as to who wears the least amount of clothing. I know sports bras as shirts have become normal but many of these girls have barely anything on them, wearing legging shorts that look like panties with camel toes and these tiny bras where their bits could pop out at any moment doing an overhead press.

Nope. And the worst part is that bills don't even get directly calculated into the equation sometimes, but they do other times. So it is inconsistent when they pull up your expenses for monthly expenditures.

They could approve you for a house at 25% but due to tons of non-debt bills, high income tax rate, and other contributions you could end up struggling to pay for that house.

Depends on the size of the venue. College performances and small community theaters don't pay their actors. Most of the time they have plenty of wannabe stars in line to do shows for free simply for the experience for their resume.

Outside of Broadway (which obviously they get paid), you'll also see paid actors in larger venues in metropolitan areas.

Generally speaking, they'll usually pay the Stage Manager before they pay the actors, and to a lesser extent, the director.

Probably not as big as any others mentioned here, but in Prison Break, Sarah's death was a huge retcon in my opinion. Not only do they make it pretty clear that she's dead, but they send Michael her head in a box. Then later on they say she is alive and well and tell him he was sent a fake head (or someone else's head). How could he not take one look at that head and not realize it's not Sarah's?

If that's the case, I wonder why they didn't just use her as the lead the movie. Seems like extra work to dub over someone singing. I guess it's name recognition. Because it's not like Rachel's acting was all that phenomenal in it (though I did enjoy her in the role).

While we are at it, I also felt Will Ferrel was miscast for this movie. I'm not sure who would be a better fit, but he just felt awkward and out of place the whole time.

It was pretty neat at the time, and I never really saw it catch on with other franchises.

Any other games that have original soundtracks with lyrics as background music during actual gameplay (and not just cutscenes, game intros, or credits)? I may have seen boss battle songs in some games with some Latin phrases every once in a while but not full-on lyrics.

Other ones I can think of are the Tony Hawk games or any games that have a radio feature, but even in these games they are licensed songs and not original soundtracks.

We're probably on the borderline of those movies (prime Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, 90's comedy) being relevant. I just saw the 1st Ace Ventura the other day. As a kid, I only remembered the rhino scene from the 2nd movie. I enjoyed it, but if you show that generation's comedy movies to a Gen Z kid, I have no idea what they'd think. The jist of every cult 90's comedy is basically "the main guy is a moron".
Yeah, even as a 90s kid, I couldn't stand movies with that "guy is a moron" trope. Never got into Dumb and Dumber or Jackass or any of those. I tolerated Ace Ventura cause of the animal theme and I liked animals.

On topic, I've never seen the Lord of the Rings movies or The Office. There's always going to be something pop culture that someone hasn't watched.

Though I'm impressed at the guy who managed to not watch a single Pixar movie.

I was in a sorta similar situation. I started seeing a girl who had a boyfriend. She was dating him for almost three years. We started flirting and hanging out, then got a little closer like holding hands watching a movie and kisses on the cheek.

I knew she had a boyfriend, and she knew I knew, but we both just played it off as innocent social interaction. Once things seemed to be progressing romantically, I confronted her and asked her what she wanted. I told her I knew she was dating someone and I didn't want to be a fling. I wanted a relationship but she would have to leave that guy for me if she was serious.

She did say she wanted a relationship and her other relationship was deteriorating. She liked the fun we were having and just didn't have the energy to break it off with the guy at the time. But our talk seemed to make her confront her own feelings and wants. The next day she broke up with her bf and we started officially dating.

In your case, it's a little different though in that it appears she is hiding her relationship from you. Mine didn't hide it, she just didn't acknowledge it. It may benefit you to see what she wants and whether that is what you want. Perhaps she is also hating her relationship and is looking for something better before she breaks it off. Or maybe she just wants a casual fling. Either way, I'd say it's in your best interest to find out.

I grew up Seventh Day Adventist, which follows many of the same Jewish rules such as no pork, keeping Sabbath holy, etc. The religion even goes further as not to allow jewelry and a bunch of other restrictive stuff.

Over the years, I've seen a shift in SDAs, with some churches becoming looser with the rules and others holding fast to the way things "should" be. The looser churches treat the rules more as guidelines to follow than as actual rules for most things. Sure enough, those churches have a lot of the younger folk in it. Meanwhile, the old school churches only have the old guard, with the majorities of attendees over 40.

The traditional SDA churches constantly criticize the more modern ones, but I think it's out of fear that they'll have to either convert to modern or shut down completely in a few decades.
