Is there even much point to reading non-fiction anymore with the internet? I mean, there are some exceptions like biographies, but so many reference books seem like a waste of space and paper. It's even crazier to me that we still have books on things meant for tech-savvy people! Who is the target audience for a modern web design book?

Following 200-300 pages on a screen is a pain in the ass for me. I get too distracted. I much prefer to have a physical object in front of me that I can quickly reference.

Also I love the smell. The smell doesn't matter, but a new book smell is like cocaine to me.

I'm 6'5" by the way. But I'm also white so I can't jump. There is no sport in which I think I can stand a chance against D-whatever athletes, but I'm sure I could score 3 points in basketball with a little luck. And I'd probably give up like 40 on defense.

If you gave me enough training, I would probably be okay. I ran a 4.8 in high school (no clue where I'm at now), and I put on muscle pretty easily. I also have the eating habits of a Wal-Mart shopper, so there's that.

Black Panther was indeed pretty good. I don't know what else to say about it. I guess that it's not as political as I expected it to be which is fine since I would rather enjoy a dumb superhero movie without thinking about a bunch of real-world issues.

Nobody was ever saying that Black Panther was going to make a statement because it mirrored our politics, but rather because of representation. It makes it easy to enjoy for everyone, but for black communities worldwide, they finally get a superhero movie that celebrates black excellence.

You're the third person I know who's recently gone to the doctor and they were like, "I dunno" and that was it.

I kind of had something similar recently. He had a potential diagnosis, but then told me that, even if I got a scan to determine it was a Baker's cyst, it's not serious enough to be anything but a waste of time.

The visit was useful because I finally have a Toronto family doctor though.

I've always thought Foles had the potential to be pretty good after that one really good season, but he's been average since then.

He can throw the ball well, but he needs some system agreement with his skills to fully take advantage of his skills. He looked worse than he was because he was with Jeff Fisher. He has thrown some pretty balls though.
