Gamefaqs mods being offended doesn't mean that conservatives can't meme. In fact, it means the opposite, it means that they CAN meme. Not sure what gamefaqs' ToS has to do with anything, anyway. First of all, gamefaqs' ToS is a holdover from CjayC's 90's era "This site is for babies, so the users will be treated like babies" mentality, which makes no sense and is a relic of a bygone era. Considering that gamefaqs is a dying website, it seems odd to aggressively censor everyone, and limit political discussion every time some major event happens in the world.

Offensive memes are banned all the time. In communist dictatorships, and also on gamefaqs. If the right couldn't meme, then there would be no need to censor them, since the purpose of said memes is to offend and agitate. So you're not really making sense. You will need to revise your opinions.

I've had Oscars that wouldn't tolerate anything in their tank, including decor.

They've got so much personality, and interact really well with humans, but they'll fuck up any other fish.

What are the opportunities for immigrants to learn the language? How accessible and well publicized are they? Learning a new language is difficult, especially, for adults, and is best achieved with time and resources that a immigrant struggling to get by may lack. Depending on their circumstances, their level and experience of education may not be the best.

In addition, many adults who are learning a language are shy about speaking it when they are not fluent. The are scared of making mistakes, offending people, or being ridiculed. It can also be a way of escaping situations where they are uncomfortable or fear discrimination.

I would not feel comfortable with taking the 'just learn the language!' stance for those reasons.

Forgiveness of anyone isn't easy. Not unless it's over something trivial, and even then a lot of people struggle to let go of resentment.

How many people have any of us really forgiven for anything important, or which has ongoing effects?
