I enjoy target shooting, used to do fancy gun work- fast draw, trick shot, gun spinning, etc. I like guns, I'm proficient as a pistolera, just don't need to carry one. So if protecting your other stuff is the justification for buying a gun, it seems a pretty weak argument to me. Just something else to get stolen. Or, if you carry it and aren't extremely well trained in both law and shooting skills and safety, something to get in a lot of trouble with. A gun is not a magic wand, like it seems on TV, it's a tool for poking holes in things, period. --- If ballet was easy, it would be pointe-less |
