Low Fodder for Regina - it has been way too long since the last Dino Crisis release and I don't think the series was all that popular here to begin with. The series would have to be revived for her to have any strength.

Mid Fodder for Kingpin. He has made a large number of appearances in Spider-Man and Daredevil media and games, most recently Marvel's Spider-Man and the Daredevil Netflix series which featured him as a major villain. His portrayal in Daredevil was highly praised as well.

Low Fodder for Salazar. Pending an announcement of RE4 remake, the game looks to have lost a step judging by Leon's last contest, and I don't think Salazar is a big enough fan favorite to overcome that like the Merchant.

Low Fodder for Hollow Knight. Sure he is the namesake of the game, but he's not the protagonist and it doesn't seem like he has a large amount of character or a big role in the game to help him out. I'm also not sure that his design will go over well in a match.

Low Fodder for Mundas. He was the main antagonist in the first game and had a role in 3, but hasn't really been relevant since.

Low Fodder for Jareth. I don't think the watch rate of Labyrinth will be that high on the site, and the meme about David Bowie's bulge likely won't matter much either. I do think he'll get some votes from Bowie fans but I ultimately think Jareth will be recognized more as his own character than David Bowie himself.

Mid Fodder for Jessica Rabbit. She's a pretty recognizable character and a minor sex icon in her own right, and I think most people will know her even if they haven't seen her movie. And of course she's got TJF too.

For Simba I will say Fodder Line. I think he'll be a tiny bit behind Aladdin - both are popular Disney movie protagonists with a largely neutral reception from what I've seen. Aladdin is the namesake of his movie and has more popular games, but I think Simba is more memorable as a protagonist due to the emotional scenes he is involved in from The Lion King.

I will say Low Fodder for HAL 9000. He is an iconic enough villain that a lot of people who haven't watched A Space Odyssey will know him, and perhaps even vote him over someone they don't know. That said I don't know why the heck they put him in a Lego game where 98% of the playerbase won't have any idea who he is.

Agree with Low Fodder on Tarkin and Yellow.

For Charmander I will say Midcarder. I don't think he'd be as strong as Squirtle, who is both in Smash and has more memorable anime appearances than Charmander.

I will also second Big the Cat for Re-Ranking. Big is a gigantic meme of a character and I think mid fodder is probably good for him, but there's a chance he could flop if opinions of him on the site are closer to Jar Jar than Slippy Toad.

I'll second re-ranking Simba. He is a bit high even for a well-known Disney movie protagonist. Simba isn't really disliked as a character, but The Lion King video games don't get the same respect as some others like Aladdin. And I'm not sure if he would be any stronger than fan-favorite villain Scar, who we put at fodder line.

Sypha would have been low fodder a few years ago, but I think Castlevania's popularity on the site combined with Sypha's major role in the Netflix series will be enough to make her Mid Fodder.

Not sure how much people like Zell, but I think he probably makes Mid Fodder as a major party member in FF8.

I will say Low Fodder for Saddler. He doesn't strike me as a particularly well-liked character from RE4, and Krauser seems to be the more memorable and popular antagonist from the game.

CD-i Link I say is a Low Midcarder. I think this is likely the basement for any Link on Gfaqs no matter how big of a joke they are. Well, besides Link the Goron.

Like Mario and Bowser, Baby Luigi I will say is Mid Fodder. He doesn't have a huge amount of presence in the Yoshi games since he always gets kidnapped in them, but he has a bunch of spinoff appearances and doesn't have the negatives that Baby Mario has.

I'll say Mid Fodder for Shanoa. I can definitely see her having some popularity due to her design and the strength of the Castlevania series. But I'm not hugely confident in Order of Ecclesia's strength, and Shanoa has very few appearances outside of that game.

Mid Fodder for Volgin. He's a major antagonist in MGS3 and very memorable for his sadistic nature and using bullet "knuckles" to fight.

High Fodder for Baby Bowser. Unlike Mario his baby version is more than an irritating crying machine - he's a scary brat who was used as the basis for Bowser Jr some years after Yoshi's Island. His boss fight in the game is also very memorable.

Mona is Low Fodder. She gets no points for being Wario's love interest, and Mona's Pizza is not nearly as popular as Ashley's Song. And again, the Warioware series isn't big on the site.

We ranked Rocky as low fodder, so Ivan Drago is definitely Low Fodder as well. He's nowhere close to law though, since Ivan is one of the best-known Soviet stereotype characters in any media. I must break you.

I never thought that Meta Knight was in need of a re-ranking in the first place; I say Fodder Line again. I don't think he'll get any anti-votes due to being busted in Smash Bros Brawl - Bayonetta was busted in WiiU and didn't seem to suffer at all in CBX for it. He's plenty popular in both Smash and the Kirby series, and appeals fans of both cute and badass characters.

Carnage is kind of tough for me to rate but I will say Low Fodder. He is a symbiote that resembles Venom which should be positive, but he lacks the gaming history that Venom has. Also he is an extreme example of an early 90s "dark and edgey" character, which I think will be a negative when it comes to getting votes. He is set to be in a movie next year which will probably elevate him to mid assuming it doesn't suck.

I almost want to give Parappa mid, but -losing to Vercetti in 2007- doesn't inspire confidence. And I don't think enough people view Parappa the Rapper as a nostalgic game from the 90s to bump him up. Low Fodder.

I will also say Low Fodder for Carmen. There's definitely law considerations here, but I think a lot of the oldies on Gfaqs do know who she is still. Also she's got a cool hat.

Looking at the favorite Zelda game polls from the past few years, Twilight Princess generally places a bit behind Wind Waker. It definitely has no shortage of fans, but it is in an awkward spot due to its release date. It isn't old enough to get childhood nostalgia votes, but it is old enough for its flaws to be well-documented.

For Wolf Link, I think he will suffer a bit for not actually looking like Link and get a (small) amount of TP anti-votes. I'll say Fodder Line because he IS still Link, and the Wolf provided a memorable gameplay shift in the game.

Saitama I will say Low Fodder, but it is very close. He doesn't yet have much of an impact on gaming and One Punch Man in general is too recent to have a great watch rate on Gfaqs. But I do think he and OPM are a lot more respected than Naruto and the like, due to effectively parodying the "Invincible Hero" and other Shonen anime tropes.

Low Fodder for Aika. Skies of Arcadia is probably still decently strong on the site, but Aika strikes me as a "love her or hate her" type of character.

Low Fodder for all today. Welkin looked pretty bad when he appeared previously but I think Valkyria Chronicles has enough of a fanbase to get him out of law range.

Aiai is just not really a character I can see gfaqs caring about. Super Monkey Ball probably has some popularity here but I'm sure that primarily has to do with the gameplay and speedrunning.

For RICHARDS I think that the F4 members besides The Thing don't really have much going for them in the bad movies we've gotten. He's probably the closest to mid out of the bunch though. The F4 could really use an MCU movie to actually do them justice.

Agree with Axem. Articuno is probably a tiny hair weaker than Zapdos. John Romero is an alright joke entrant but Gfaqs doesn't care about jokes that much anymore. And Nidoran F will only get recognition and joke votes.

nominate Makoto Niijima for Re-Ranking. I think Persona 5 did well enough in GOTD to put possible concerns about the game's strength to rest. And Makoto is definitively the most popular party member/waifu of the game in the West, and I haven't seen as much as a negative word against her. This hasn't been true for most Persona 4 and 5 party members: even Chie and Futaba have their detractors. I think part of the reason Joker but actually not Joker did poorly in 2018 is that Persona 5 wasn't old enough yet - it usually takes longer than a year for the fickle Gfaqs voters to truly embrace a game and its characters.
