$60 a month is not worth this administration.

This administration is improving everything so this makes no sense. Extra money in our paychecks is only a bonus. This backwards thinking is going extinct.

What you see as an improvement, is not necessarily what I see as an improvement.

She's 9 weeks now.

Sweet as can be. Still working on the potty training. Only so much she can do, when her bladder is still really small.

Went to our first vet appt last night. She did test postitive for Giardia. I guess it's extremely common for pound puppies. A week of medication will clear it up. Hopefully my other dog doesn't get it though.

He's pretty well off, and started dabbling in crypto in 2017.

I know he was putting in hundreds/thousands at a time. But he had to make a pretty good amount to be taxed 1k, right?

I did hear their taxes are a bit weird though. 30% first year, then down to 15% after that?

Does that mean he made 30k in just crypto?

So I made sure to address our elder dog first, let him out first, fed him first, etc. Then when my girlfriend got home, I had her stay home with the pupper, and I took the older dog for walk.

He started playing with her as soon as we got back

We haven't been giving too much treats, we still give her lots of pets and tell her she's a good girl, etc.

Mainly because we didn't want her to shit sporadically through out the day. Right now it's a bit easier to guess her bowel movements, cuz she's on a pretty strict eating schedule.

Maybe we'll try that.

How old?

Ours is only 8 weeks. She does go potty outside, if we're out there. But right now she has no means of signaling.

Unfortunately she's still getting to use to the house and its scent, so she's sniffing the floor damn near constantly. Which makes you think she has to go lmao. But then you take her out, and watch her play with leaves/sticks for 20 mins lol

That's what I heard. You're just supposed to ring the bell with the pup's paws or snout, as you're walking out the door? While saying "let's go potty outside" or whatever

Dude I'm on the same day with mine. Free time is hard when I'm constantly watching to make sure he isn't going on the floor. The annoying part is taking him outside, him peeing, coming to play only to pee on the floor 20 minutes later. Like where was that, the reserve tank?

Yeah really. I bought a "potty bell" that I'm going to install today. Apparently you can teach them to ring it, when they need to go out. That'd be a huge help.

Obligatory pics.
https://m.imgur.com/a/gaV4i

I do need to rant a little. Not that the puppy is doing anything out of the ordinary. I know this is all "normal", I just need to adjust. Only on day 3.

My main concern, is how depressed my older dog is acting, ever since we brought the puppy home.
He's 5. I've been making sure to show him lots of attention, extra treats, etc. But he isn't sleeping with us any more. He'll go sit in this corner between two couches, which he's never done before. And just has this EXTREMELY sad look on his face. It's killing me. I'm gonna take him on a nice hike today, leave the pup at home, and see if I can cheer him up.

Potty training can be frustrating at times, cuz we'll stand outside in the cold for 20 mins without her eliminating. Then as soon as we come in, she'll piss on the floor. She does go outside too, but she hasn't learned when to signal for outside yet.

Gotta get her to stop trying to play with our other dog and cats so much. She can be pretty relentless about trying to bite their tail, paws, etc.

The thing I least expected, is having absolutely zero free time. I mean I haven't even turned my pc on since we adopted her. No video games, no porn.

Again, I know most of this is normal. Just needed to rant.

Years ago, I went to a Kalahari swim park with a girl I was dating.

We swam for a few hours, then decided to go eat lunch. After we ate, we were sitting in the parking lot, and I was pretty tired. Told her I was gonna snooze for 5-10 minutes, so she asked to play some games on my phone. Fine, no problem.

When I woke up, she was very distant and would barely talk to me. After about two hours of this, I finally confront her to see what was going on.

A couple weeks prior, an ex fling texted me trying to hook up; and I told her I couldn't, I'm seeing someone. So I didn't think I was guilty of anything, thus didn't delete the conversation.

We ended up breaking up over it. I was mad over the invasion of privacy, and she was mad over the text

Without seeing the text, you're in the right; however, depending on the wording, I can see how GF might've been offended.

You say "I couldn't [hook up], I'm seeing someone." The way you worded it makes it sound like said GF is holding you back or some shit, or like you'd totally hook up with her or something; basically GF thought the wording made it same like she was the easiest option around, as opposed to the best.

If that makes sense

That makes sense. We were both still teens, and could have handled it better on both ends.

We're actually still friends 10 years later lol.
