Always heard about the different job boards in the IZJS version and with the 4x speed in there I decided this would be a good opportunity to try to obtain every item in the game and do all the bazaar recipes,etc so this platinum probably took slightly longer than it normally would. I was playing on 4x probably a good 80% of the time too but it still took 100+ hours. This Platinum is basically a 100% playthrough of the story and sidequests as well as completing the new 100 Floor trial mode that was added. Thanks to the new job boards and also the new weapons that are even stronger than the Zodiac Spear this wasn't really a tough platinum, just a very time consuming one. The one hard fight I would say is the new boss fight at the end of Trial Mode where you have to fight all 5 Judges at once. Relying on gambits early on will quickly get you killed and you need to micromanage the whole fight until you eliminate all but one of them. The platinum requires the following: - Complete the Story Mode - Sell 1,000 pieces of loot - Spend over 1 million gil - Obtained 500,000 clan points - Earned 48,000 license points - Obtain a Morbid Urn - Perform every concurrence - Learn all Magicks - Learn all Technicks - Obtained all 13 Espers - Fully explored every map - Defeated every Mark - Completed the Bestiary - Complete Trial Mode Everything else comes in the process of achieving those goals. Final level was 78 (didn't bother to get to 99 this time like my original playthrough) and final time was 109:48. Next up my Limited Edition of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA arrived in the mail this morning, but I wanted to catch up on all the Ys games I haven't gotten to yet (Origins, replay Ys Seven now that it's on Steam and Memories of Celceta) so I'll probably be playing those, but also I want to continue my playthrough of the Yakuza series and start Yakuza 2 as well :O --- |
