I guess mayo almost. It just depends on your definition of premium. Cause the best is Duke's if you can get it, or Best Food's/Hellman's, and they're both pretty affordable and have average prices.
Otherwise, I do enjoy a hot dog or bologna, but not really in place of anything though. Like, I enjoy cheap foods along side fancy foods. Personally, I like my pasta a bit more tender than most, so I really like chef boyardee and foods similar to it.

Does Spam stand for spiced ham? That's what I was taught afaik. That stuff fries up so well, but I like it most way, especially in scrambled eggs.

If people get more taken out when they make more, it's usually child support, back taxes, etc., something that could be avoided in a sense.
I think one of the few times you'll notice a big jump is once you make enough for taxes, $11,000 or whatever. Basically once you go from no taxes to taxed.

I find more and more people that have subtitles on as default. It really weirds me out seeing so many people do it without any reason.
Mind you, I don't mind subtitles and prefer them over a dub, but I find them annoying when unnecessary.
The amount of times my girlfriend and I watch a movie and I have to turn off the subtitles cause she doesn't notice them is countless.
They're distracting in my eyes. I like to go into things without much knowledge and I don't want subtitles drawing my attention.

I know the super smash bros melee competitive scene struggled for years to find a way they could play their gamecube game without messing with the visuals or introducing input delay. I heard that they eventually found something decent that doesn't involve lugging CRTs around. If you're looking to buy a new screen I'd see what they use, it's likely the best solution.

Report results if you ever look deep into this cause it could be interesting to learn. Input lag can make such a difference and be taken for granted pretty quickly. This research seems like the best bet.

Most have a game mode setting to help with lag.
One of my favorite investments is my CRT to combat your problem. More and more TVs stopped carrying the s video input, and now it almost seems composite is going the same way. Once I noticed that, I went to good will and only regret when I have to move the big ol tube.
I pulled out my psone for the first time in years and I was actually taken aback by how clean everything looked still.

I'm a slow ass reader, but for someone who aims for 20 books a year, it is more than most amongst my peers.
I live close to a university, so most young people don't read because they already are for school. It seems a good chunk wouldn't mind if some of their reading was for pleasure.
The average person just doesn't seem to read much. Most of us readers at my job greatly vary from 1 or 2 a month (me) to 5+ a week. Most of feel that as long as you're reading, it's whatever and we just hope there's books we've both read.

I really liked the first Matrix, but the passing of time and the dragging weight of the sequels has lessened my regard for it.

It didn't really help that, even when it came out, I was already aware of a couple of other things that The Matrix seemed to be blatantly ripping off, so I never really had that "OMG THIS SHIT IS GENIUS" reaction too many people seem to have had. And I'd already had a Philosophy 101 class in college, so I didn't have the "OMG THIS SHIT IS SO DEEP" reaction that way too many teenagers got out of it.

It was a pretty good sci-fi movie at the time, though. Even if I thought Dark City and Thirteenth Floor were better.

I'm getting there in life with all the science fiction I read as well. In a way, it makes things predictable, but it also makes me happy when I see "deeper" ideas put into movies.

Relying on a substance to be happy is the definition of addiction.

As opposed to an object like money?
I mean, if you're addicted to something that makes you happy without much harm to yourself or others, is it that bad? Excess is bad and moderation is good, so if you can moderate your happiness with this plant, it sounds pretty good. If anything is the sole source of happiness though, that's probably never good.

No, but it absolutely does a great job of ruining individuals drive to improve their lives by making them happy with nearly anything.

What if finding happiness is the drive? Sounds like it's a miracle then.

On a serious note, concentrates have always been a double edged sword for me. I enjoy the plant very much, so I wouldn't want to shorten the experience by concentrating it. It also has greatly increased my tolerance, making the flower not as great.
I'll stick to flower and keep any concentrates as a special occasion. Edibles have never been that great to me, but that's a different consuming method.

What wolfy described is basically how I tip, plus a little more. I look around me, judge the service and amount of people, and then judge the tip on that, not just the bill.
I've been to too many varying places where a percentage just doesn't work out fairly. I rarely get that much better treatment when the price of the meal goes up, so why should the tip go up?
I generally aim for $5-$10 tip and that amounts to about 15%+ for most of my meals.

My girlfriend doesn't get it. But she enjoys drama where I enjoy comedy. We're just different in a sense with entertainment.
She sees me stressing and confused, instead of mentally challenged by the game, and so it turns her off. When I'm running around an rpg trying to find where to go, she finds it weird that I can be lost but that can be part of the puzzle aspect of the game.
I try to tell her how bad I am at gaming and how much harder I probably make it look, but it doesn't stick.
I mean, I love NFL blitz. If I had seen someone play that without much knowledge, I'd think they were being punished.
