I live in a college town. So many people wear revealing stuff for people to notice them.
It's a great view, but then I start feeling bad for their self respect. A girl the other day had Jean shorts on that were basically panties, both cheeks were on display. As far as bras go, most here don't wear them.

Do people not understand general opinion?

It's what dictates if gay means happy, homosexual or something negative. When it starts to majorly lean one way, that's when general opinion decides what it typically means.

All slurs can have a correct usage, but that doesn't make it right. We're not gonna start using a term for people WithOut Papers again, even if there are times it is true.

Why do some of you people feel the right to be able to label others without actually asking or polling a majority first? In essence, a bunch of white passing, US born people, should not be the ones deciding what to call anybody but themselves. You have no right. The same goes for anybody. Somebody from Italy shouldn't be the one deciding what to call a citizen from Iran.

Well, makes sense like others are saying with micro transactions and stuff. I mean, I was a teen playing games all day for a summer, but that was a different time.
I see this being taken as seriously as a gambling addiction which is not at all seriously taken. Once that happens though, people will recognize how much we are addicted to our phones with a vanity addiction.

That was also when the show went down hill, so no big loss when I started to watch it less. Probably seen all the reruns at this point.

If you search for bad, you'll find it. Life is like the internet in that sense. You can almost always find something that agrees with your opinion.
That's the easy route though.

If you want more out of life, try a little to appreciate everything and you'll get much more out of it. Anytime something sucks, I just go back 50 or 100 years and realize how much better things are now.

Lots of ifs, but that's life. You get what you put into it. If it was easy, we'd be overpopulated and destroyed easily.

More and more states are making it legal, which means it may eventually become federally legal as well, at which point it becomes a question of if individual states can still make it illegal at that point. I wouldn't be surprised if it became federally legal if the next president is a democrat.

Try moving to like texas or arizona.....they may keep it illegal no matter what.

I live in Arizona and we're close to making it legal. Since we are a dumb business state though, the recreational bills have been super shady about where the money goes, so it hasn't passed. The next time around, I could see it happening.
Also, it is medically legal. I've had my card for over 3 years. I'd say it has been quite an investment, cause it brought prices down while bringing quality way up. So nice to unwind however I want, despite having to pay a yearly fee for it.

I doubt this'll change much. The rich kids will still get in regardless of their SAT scores thanks to a few generous donations, so artificially reducing them won't impact much.

It won't hurt the richest kids.

It will hurt those in the middle / upper middle class.

The group that seemingly every class-based policy decision ends up hurting the most.

What is the middle class? Most of the time, it sounds like the upper class to me, but with more whining about their money and not admitting they have plenty.

Go to a less fortunate city and talk to someone who studies hard. Go to a well off city and talk to someone who puts in average effort. You may be suprised.
I grew up in an affluent city, and when I changed schools, it was a surprise. I felt like a genius while still being someone who messed around.
Well off cities get great supplies and updated material.

When others seem more slow, stupid or weak, it seems more out of effort than actual limitation.
So, if anything, maybe slightly smarter cause I understand not being lazy actually allows you to be more lazy. I see lots of people try to be lazy but then give themselves more work or short themselves the experience to make it easier.
