You pretty much nailed it, TC. Im sorry to say that the combat does not evolve and the story doesnt exist.

Magic is abysmal. It feels like they tried to copy the bomb throwing mechanic from the Witcher and severely missed the mark. The fact that you cannot turn off friendly fire (which shouldnt exist) makes magic useless.

When was kingdom hearts released? 15 years ago?? The combat in that game is still better than this. The product of all of squareenixs efforts: a lazy, slapped-together combat system. Theres no strategy.

These idiots at squareenix have been just useless and confused since that fucking merger. Yeah, I like dragon quest as much as the next guy, but I would have been willing to let it die to keep Squaresoft alive. What will it take for these people to realize that they stepped on the most important toes in the company and now theyve got a bunch of assholes trying to cobble together the best elements of every popular game?

Open world action rpg. In theory, it shouldnt have been so disappointing. Plus, it was virtually unplayable without the colossal update.

Damn, too late. I still got the gauss rifle, stealth armor (the main thing I wanted) and the power armor. Wheres the safest place to store my power armor until I can actually use it? Its in my megaton house.

Nice, I didnt know about the stealth armor. Stealth is my forte in these games. Ive already got the gauss rifle, so youre definitely right. I actually didnt realize what this was, but I like the added survival aspect of this DLC. Fewer bullets and stuff. Having perks in sneak and rifles makes it easier.

I was shoveling snow off of the sidewalk and I slipped off the sidewalk. One foot went into the storm drain under the sidewalk and I twisted and fell on my face. My ankle hurts, so I can only imagine if I moved a half inch more than I did or maybe if I was heavier...

Im replaying FO3. I just followed a bunch of brotherhood people (or maybe its the enclave?) to their stronghold and theyre making me do the Alaska simulation. Did I accidentally start one of the DLC, or is this part of the story? Its been a couple years since I played this.

I really enjoyed Fallout 4, it was just not as good because they screwed with the elements and made fun things become meticulous.

The idea of crafting was fun you basically had to do it to get good weapons but it became a pain in the ass when forced to do so for quests. Building that stupid generator towards the end was just unnecessary.

The whole power armor vehicle deal was to appease fans of other crowds. We clearly dont need that. They should have kept closer to the formula.

If you play through, expect to spend roughly three hours at loading screens, total. They designed the map too big and with too many useless areas. One-room cafes with a floor safe and some irradiated food. Yeah, that shit just causes the game to slow and doesnt need to be there.

Fallout 3 has absolutely massive areas. For example, a museum in Fallout 3 will be four times the size of one in Fallout 4. Fallout 3 has a charm that they failed to replicate.

Its just like how Grand Theft Auto 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GTA5. When developers piggyback on a successful formula, unnecessary tweaks (or in the case of GTA, bad story/characters) can ruin the game. Its still fun, but just fails to make the same impact and is disappointing.

I mean, they managed to progress the story from a guy looking for his dad to a guy looking for his son. They could have done better.

Power Armor is the one thing Fallout 4 did better than any game in the series. In the lore, power armor was used to turn the tide of the war with China and effectively made normal infantry into walking tanks. All power armor is in Fallout 3/NV is a different set of numbers by your armor Stat. Fallout 4 makes it feel genuinely special and powerful in a way the other games didn't. That being said, having you used it within 5 minutes of getting out of the Vault was a bad decision that undermined a lot of the improvements they made.

I have to disagree. I feel that wearing power armor was cumbersome and clumsy. It felt like operating some kind of steam powered robot. Power armor originally felt the exact same as regular armor, but had good defense numbers.

Making it into a vehicle took away from the body armor category. Those of us who dont want to play the game in an awkward vehicle have virtually no choices for decent armor, unless you weight yourself down and waste perks on armor skills.

I felt like the developers felt, for whatever reason, that they needed to do something drastically different than the gameplay, which sucked.

I feel like Fallout 4 didnt have enough interactive things that require skills, outside lockpick and computer. For example, you interact with the bomb in Megaton and use repair skill to fix it. Not high enough? Use armor that boosts explosive.

Fallout 4 ruined power armor by making it a clunky vehicle. I always wound up using one-piece armor like the Silver Shroud outfit or something better, because it was just a hassle to upgrade six pieces or armor and re equip them every time I need to change into my Charisma apparel.

I liked how grenades were done, but I miss VATS grenades. Fallout 4 also suffered from a serious lack of special weapons. There were just more in Fallout 3. I did like how they abolished the level cap, though, but I felt that most perks were unnecessary and some were just gimmicky.

And before anyone says "they shouldn't be allowed to drive," that argument makes no sense. I can understand that it becomes a problem on busy streets, but to take away their driving privileges because of it is debatable at best.

Some American ghettos are among the most dangerous places on the planet, including war zones. Its absolutely unacceptable. Some of these ghettos are larger than small towns and cannot be contained.

Inside is a world of its own. People are born in these hoods (as you call them), without birth certificates or social security numbers. People who dont exist. Ambulances wont go in and the police sometimes wont. Drugs flow like the mile and violence is commonplace.

So, theres really some inbalanced rulings made. The Supreme Court hearing was huge, though. That ended one of the main forms of systematic inequality. Its not necessarily the speed. Each car is geared a certain way and if a driver forces you into a certain speed, your car might need to downshift which will cause you to burn gas.

My car has a meter that reads my fuel economy as high-low, so I can tell when somebodys holding my car back.

No. I guess that my grade either did nothing, or maybe groups of friends got together. My grade, compared to the grades around mine, had no unity. We were indecisive and never agreed on anything. We outright didnt have a senior trip. We got screwed out of every class trip from DC to Costa Rica to wherever the hell we could have gone as a senior trip.

From what I can tell, the vast majority of my friends live in different states and have completely gone their own ways in life. Baton Rouge was not the kind of place most people want to live or start a family. They elect townie families who openly say they want to keep unconnected people from succeeding in the state university. No wonder LSU is the biggest joke in the nation.

Fam, I JUST finished this game today. Remember that you can press the right analog stick to follow the enemy. Let it attack you and dodge with circle. Then attack and move. Before initiating the fight, use Cursed Oil on your blade (he will always draw the correct blade on his own)

Try to brew the swallow and thunderbolt spells as soon as you can. Potions and blade oils are the key to winning. ALWAYS start off with the Quen spell (which deflects a few blows). I wouldnt mess around with bombs.

The R3 tracking thing is essential to mobs of underwater or flying enemies and quen can be your best friend. Also, only sell items to their corresponding merchants and always check their inventory for treasure maps or alchemy recipes (swallow, thunderbolt, white raffords concoction, and ... theres one that increases vitality.

I recommend putting some skill points into alchemy and be sure to search every ? in White Orchard to get extra AP from Points of Power.

Anyways, the werewolf is fast and hits hard, so quen for defense and Cursed blade oil for attack. Dodge, slash a couple times, and then roll. Rinse and repeat. Holding L2 helps, too.

I always wondered how a fully grown adult, who is capable of working, ends up on welfare/EBT and stays jobless, yet has like 5 kids. Is it just poor decisions all around or what?

I understand of course when people fall on hard times with employment, or can't get a higher paying job but still work their asses off, but some of these people on welfare/assistance literally just waste space and do nothing to improve their situation.

Its almost impossible to not get fleeced buying a computer, if youre going to use it for more than internet browsing.

If its for games (trigger warning), youre better off with a console. PC gaming is not user friendly and it takes way too long to get everything ready.
