I can't log in to an account on old.reddit on my phone.

They changed the way you log in, you have to go to a different screen now. On PC, I can go into options, and click opt back into the old design. But on mobile that option is not there, and viewing in desktop mode doesn't help get it back.

Also, manually typing in old.reddit.com auto logs you out, and when you log back in you're in new reddit again.

As of now I see no way to browse old.reddit.com while logged in on a phone. Anyone else having this issue?

I now pay 300 a month for a 2020 civic.

It's so crazy how these things increase the profits of companies due to lower costs, but then we can never go backward, because the business then claims that it would bankrupt them.

Like, in the 50s, companies paid just fine. People could live off those wages. And the companies survived. So why can't we go back to those wages? Because it'll "bankrupt companies". Even though it didn't back in the day.

I see the same thing here. These fast food places were doing just fine with human workers. None of them were going out of business. But now I bet in the future the AI will totally take over, and they can't go back to human workers because they'll claim they can't afford to. But somehow in the past they could.

Sometimes I like to ask the person what comes on a sandwich or something like that. Will the AI be able to handle that kind of interaction?

CVS is all jacked up now days.

United Healthcare also, a big one. Blows my mind.

Also my dentist used to take them, but then this year they were like, oh your insurance won't work here anymore. And i was like you don't take United? And they were like, oh no, we do take United, but your specific plan was downgraded this year so it's not included.

I bought a little dedicated shelf/bookcase kinda thing for mine but yeah with a cat that's gotta be hard.

I have the skeletons battling the pirates on the ship. I used some other skeletons from other sets too to make it more epic. The pirates are running around with torches and stuff and the young guy is freaked out and blasting away with two pistols. It's great.

I think it was actually a little more expensive than the pirate ship, which is bullshit because there are less pieces.

The box art shows your character as a light "golden" armored fighter, but in the game you play as a fully armored knight. IIRC, his helmet face-shield always stays closed.

The name Wizards and Warriors reminds me of another game with a name similar to that but I forget. I believe you played as an entire family of wizard-warriors, the parents and two kids? And you explored a whole big Metroid style world switching between them. Any idea what that was?

I have that one! I love it.

I also have the Vikings ship, which isn't as big or good, but still great and they look great next to each other.

Also the viking village, and the 3 in 1 castle, and the medieval blacksmith shop, and El Dorado fortress, and the medieval town square. That last one I just got recently and I'm really slow about building it.

I love how they all go together theme wise.

Also, what's up with the general attitude of DToast? Here is a quote from the admin announcement:

He is NOT representing our needs, concerns and culture. He's combative and defensive. I've never seen a community manager like this honestly. It's an argumentative and toxic relationship between him and the community he's supposed to be representing. He just keeps going on about people here not being engaging in good-faith, when the vast majority of us are (with just a few trolls here and there who may not be).

I've always said the hate was way overblown for that show. Like, everyone seemed to go on about the laugh track, but that's literally every single sitcom ever.

Almost kinda feels like it was just the generational shift of younger people no longer enjoying sitcoms on a fundamental level, and BBT was the sacrificial sheep because it was big at the time.

Yep, that too! LUE had warning, you could scramble to make sure you made it. With CE, if you're out you're out.

I even have a friend here that I've been trying to contact who is in purgatory. I guess that means he now doesn't have CE access anymore. Not sure if I'll even be able to contact him at all after this.

Ive been on GameFAQs in at least some capacity since 2002 or 2003. CE I remember starting to browse/post on in late high school or early college years (so around 2008) and Ive been here since.

Ive always considered GameFAQs (and to a lesser extent CE specifically) to be my Internet home.

My thoughts exactly honestly. Gamefaqs is my internet home base pretty much.
