Seems a little thoughtless to me. I mean how much business can they really expect to have during/after a hurricane? Even if their employees aren't allowed to evacuate several days in advance other people will be so there's some lost business. Those who don't evacuate might be spending time preparing and spending money on supplies/defenses instead of buying pizza.

Go is certainly overplayed, but hugely underrated by fans of the original.

I don't know. Last I remember somebody named Slade was fighting Robin and eventually Robin was forced to become his villainous sidekick because Slade had embedded nanobots in his friends that he could detonate at any minute unless Robin did his bidding. That sounds like a pretty dark and serious dichotomy to subject a young demographic to imo.

And then at the end of that story when robin infects himself with the nanobots as a last ditch effort to save his friends Slade, in all his great wisdom, chooses to let robin and the rest of the teen titans go instead of murdering them all right there and removing his biggest roadblock in one strike. I really like the original dont get me wrong but its certainly not unassailable.

As for ttg its got some really funny stuff if you go into it trying to be entertained instead of disgusted. it is definitely played too much though

Let's be fair; I think both parties are sort of at fault. The gamer side wants completely unobtainable goals. They want a game that is fresh and new, but also the same experience as their favorite games. They want no micro-transactions and free content, but also want the game to keep being supported for years. They want games to be for a select few, but then complain when series die because no one plays them.

I can't speak for all gamers but I personally just want to see some minor advancements in video games over time. I remember back when Destiny came out I had been a little disenchanted with the new console gen in this regard so far (other than Titanfall) and I had high hopes for Destiny that it would truly be a step forward in videogames, but after playing it some I honestly felt like it was almost a step back in a lot of regards and that was a huge part of the disappointment for me. While Titanfall was a pretty generic fps in structure along with having no campaign, it had incorporated a lot of interesting gameplay mechanics together in really smooth ways and looked beautiful and I guess I kind of let that shape my expectations for Destiny too. Then when Destiny finally came out it was 720 30fps with the same laggy controls and a pretty disappointing open world aspect with crappy AI enemies, a rushed half-finished story that made no sense, grindy content that was still necessary long after it had stopped being fun, a so-so social aspect, and a lot of obvious content cut out of it so it could be repackaged and sold to us again as DLC. I guess my point is that I believe that I don't want completely unobtainable goals, whatever those may be, but I felt and still feel like this gen hasn't made hardly any meaningful forward progress anywhere in games from the previous gen, and Destiny (and partly Fallout 4) has been the primary game that represents this lack of advancement. I know Destiny tried and I don't want to fault it too much, but with some good came a lot of bad with that game so it's hard to give it it's due credit too.
