With so many video game characters out there, there's a higher chance of more fodder entrants. Unfortunately we got the short end of the stick this year. I can't just make the field myself because I haven't played every game and would definitely miss some strong characters. Also, some people really want to see a character they like for the course of a season, even if they aren't going to be tourney bound. It's a tough situation.

haha, hell man, I agree with you on a lot of things but RBY is objectively the worst generation of Pokemon.

You have two seconds to explain yourself before your friendship card is put up for reevaluation!
He's right though. It had a ton of glitches and quirks, 1/3 of the Pokedex was either Normal, Water, or Poison, Psychics were broken, only weak to Bug, which had 2 real attacks that maybe 2 or 3 Pokemon could ever learn, no Special split.

You can't actually defend this mess with anything other than nostalgia. (I mean, yes, it was still a fun game, but every generation has improved upon the last.)

Depends on your definition of a Cinderella. If Donkey Kong stars tearing Smash Bros a new one, I'd say that's a Cinderella, since he has low expectations coming in.
