The Bulls were rebuffed on an offer to the Celtics for the third pick straight-up, but bringing the Cavaliers to the table could increase the quality of offers for Butler, who would be eligible for a deal in the $40 million range annually if he makes another All-NBA team next season.

WTF if this is true

I read that the other way around and couldn't understand what you were talking about. The CELTICS turned that trade down? What in the hell...

Voted for Chrono before I read all the options... it's really The Legend of Dragoon 2.

Yes Chrono Trigger is a better game and my literal favourite of all-time... but I don't think the current team at Square is capable of topping the original, whereas I think there are a number of Sony Studios capable of making an LoD 2 that surpasses the original in every way. And I think the original was great.

This topic isn't THAT bad, but the situation is overly simplified. Nobody dates someone who they don't think is attractive if they also don't like their personality. But it gets complicated when they have a great personality and you don't immediately find them physically attractive. In that situation personality can literally begin to influence how you think of that person romantically and sexually and although you never would have looked twice at the person before getting to know them, you can end up being crazy about them after finding out how well you match up.

But yeah, the question was asked in a slightly boneheaded way.

eh, they just need Irving to play like he did in games 3-5 last year and they've got a chance.

problem is, Irving played out of his mind in last year's finals

Yeah... I think the reason it's so tough is that the Cavs are a great team and it's not as if they're playing terribly (outside of all the turnovers last game). It just seems that they need so many different things to happen in order to stay competitive, much less win the series. I mean they need LeBron to continue what he's been doing, which is a lot for any player... they need Kyrie to play out of his mind, they need Curry to be be off his game... and then they have to go 48 without really making mistakes.

The past two years Golden State has seemed vulnerable, and despite the fact that Durant wasn't even in the picture... people seem to forget that Curry wasn't playing well at all in either series. Even without Durant, Curry playing like his regular season self could have ended both series very quickly. Now that he's feeling great AND you add Durant, Klay Thompson becomes a footnote... and that footnote is that he's simply playing incredible defense and still knocking down 3's. It's tough to watch because it's such an uphill battle and it just doesn't seem possible.

I mean I guess it is true though. If LeBron does this... it'll be hard to argue against him being the greatest, because right now it just does not look possible.

She's the kind of girl I'd find attractive if I were still in middle school or high school. I know she's 20 something, but she still looks like a girl and I can't say I'm into that.

And to answer the music question, I watched that whole benefit concert this afternoon and I have to admit that her songs were the worst part. When she goes low she just starts mumbling and you lose all the words, but she can sound decent when she goes high and actually puts some power behind her vocals. I think Problem and Side to Side are fine... the rest of her songs seem kinda trash though.

Same, except instead of "probably" it's more like "maybe, if her execution barrier isn't as fuck-off high as it is in SF4".

That's actually way more accurate for me as well. I always loved her design and the way the character moved, but I couldn't actually play her competitively because I just wasn't good enough execution-wise. My fundamentals were/are solid enough that I can still beat scrubs and maybe some half decent players, but yeah... it sucked knowing I wasn't anywhere close to being able to use her as she was meant to be played.

I tried to get back into it a few months ago but yeah, I think the only thing that could make me hardcore again is if they announced Rose. Fighting games are weird, I need a combination of both a character I love aesthetically, but then also loving how they move and play within the game.. and I was never able to find that in SFV. I tried to make it work with Karin, and it was fun for a while...but it just never quite felt right.

It's just a really poor list overall. Ronaldo is probably #1 and it's not much of an argument. What is crazy is the idea that Damian Lillard is more famous than any NHL or MLB player. And although it's already been touched on, the F1 representation is boggling. I think Lewis Hamilton could be argued for top 10, and at the very least, he's definitely in the top 25 no question. The fact that the second F1 driver is Massa rather than Vettel or Alonso is... I don't even know what it is.

Eh.... I don't know Barry, but this sounds like it was written by an American. I can't speak on the fans resenting the ownership and all that stuff, but $120 is incredibly cheap for NHL hockey in Canada, and this is only compounded by the fact that it's the playoffs... later rounds in the playoffs. Talking about Ottawa's population is a joke as well. It's population would be small for an NHL city in the US... but it's actually virtually the same as Edmonton (who were selling out for the decade their team was terrible) and quite a bit larger than Winnipeg, who also wouldn't have trouble selling out playoff games.

I'll agree that there is no need to shit on their fanbase and the location of the arena does seem like a big problem... but some of the points in that article are BS.
