I sadly have to announce the cancellation of this playthrough.

After I reached 120 stars, I made this an unscheduled playthrough. What that means is that I would just play it at any time, and no play times were guaranteed. Still, I intended to play it to at least 241 stars. I was thinking of even doing that today.

Sadly, due to some drama last night between 5+ users in the room, I feel like I cannot continue. To sum it up without naming names (witnesses know who did what), shortly after my PW3 playthrough (my final one!) ended, the owner/head admin of the room demoted me from admin status, muted me, and promoted everyone else to admin status. When questioned about it, the general reasoning is that I had previously offended him a few years ago with jokes (similar to failnorn/etcnorn jokes), back when he didn't have power, but now he has power. I apparently kicked him at some point too, but I don't remember ever doing that.
At any rate, this presents a few problems to me. After doing playthroughs for nearly 5 years, I feel that I deserve more respect than that, especially after just finishing my final scheduled playthrough. Further, I see no reason why I should be demoted to a regular user in future playthroughs, when I can easily just move and have some actual control over the chat, which was, in fact, a stipulation to me even broadcasting there. I cannot be an op until the head admin makes me one, and I do not see that as likely. In general, I feel that his actions were flagrant admin abuse, and me and several others have been calling for him to resign.
This has unfortunately caused quite a bit of a problem in the chat, and it has been going on for 5-6 hours after I finished the playthrough. Since then, nobody has said anything.
Still, I do not feel that I can or should continue this playthrough in such an atmosphere. While I can move, it would cause a problem with multiple rooms, and overall will only hurt the community more than this drama already has. Therefore, I feel that the responsible and mature thing to do is to simply end it here.
I apologize to my fans who wanted to see SMG2 completed to 241 stars. This issue with the regulars of the IRC channel has unfortunately caused you to be hurt the most. It has also hurt me, as well. I wanted to have a great final playthrough day, and not be thrown into drama like this. I really, really hate how it all ended, and I feel that it is a very unfortunate and unfitting end to my 5 years of broadcasting. I can't help but feel that the viewers feel the same way, and I am sorry that you had to see the dispute between the IRC owner and I do out of control like this.
This is not how I expected to end these playthroughs. I expected it to end with either happiness for all the great years, or sadness that it is going away, but not anger and drama.
Nevertheless, thank you all for watching, and I hope others continue to do playthroughs, and watch them, too!
EDIT: This does not mean that my playthroughs or the completion of SMG2 has no chance to come back. I've discussed the possibility with others in the IRC chat, but I will not post about that here.
