the fact that online is supposedly so good for this game makes me bitter about how 3SOE turned out
the game is playable online, but it's not quite the same game. it sometimes drops inputs, startup frames, or goes screwy with the timing. but apparently Skullgirls GGPO is the greatest thing ever. makes people think that Capcom didn't really try all that hard for 3s GGPO implementation.
it's the difference between building a game from the ground up with ggpo in mind and shoehorning ggpo into a decade+ old game it was never intended for
(also capcom is bad at online)
