It's still too early for new Pokemon IMO...and having a small batch would just feel weird. Plus everyone would be using them, you know? Variety is the cool part of Pokemon.
Anyways there's still time left to see because the info hasn't leaked yet, but I'd be happier if they found a new way to make the game not feel like a rehash without just throwing new Pokemon at it. Whether it's a new region, plotline, or breaking the "eight gym badges" formula, or whatever. I'm actually kind of hoping that it's a literal sequel and you can import your team from BW1. But who knows.
One thing they might do is integrate the previously unobtainable legends (Keldeo, Meloetta, and Dennis -er, Genesect) into the game. That's.......sort of like new Pokemon.
Keldeo and Meloetta are the focus of the new movie so they'll for sure be featured in the game in -some- way.
