The only person who has to be dead is ULTRAGOON because otherwise investigation phase wouldn't have started. He couldn't have moved the body though, and apparently Celes was in the washroom with Asahina the whole time. There has to have been an accomplice that wasn't Celes.
Who knows? What if both bodies were found at the same time? He could be alive if that happened.
