Basically, the author spends the first part giving an autobiographical account of his younger years. His first time listening to the band and how he wasn't a big fan of the album in question (Wowee Zowee). Later on, he grows to love it and explains why he likes the band so much.
I liked it because its really human and the author has a genuine respect for a band I also love. After that, he gets to talk to some of the band memebers and conduct interviews with them. It gives a lot of insight into the making of the album and the band in general
