The sad thing is that there should be scientific advancements in medicine, but there really aren't, mostly a lot of people abusing statistics for fun and profit rather than actual work getting done. It's kinda telling that our generations life expectancy is dropping below our parents' (Dunno by which metrics or what source, so grain and salt etc.)
It's because we're fatter!
And medicine is advancing yo, we're starting to find possible ways to cure AIDS and cancer, as well as many diseases like Alzheimer and Parkinson.
