Sovereign will always be why I like the Reapers as a threat. They were best left an all-powerful mystery with motivations that weren't understood.
This, this, this so much. I have said it before as well. They never should have been given an origin and that's one of the many things I hate about the star child.
Sovereign was so badass too. His voice sent chills through me. I wish he would have had more dialogue.
