Yeah, I haven't downloaded anything yet, so I didn't know if it came with BYOND.
My next guess is that, for whatever reason, it didn't correctly set associations. A re-install would probably fix that if that were the problem (or maybe something's wrong with the installer itself).
But I'm just taking shots in the dark.
