the Canucks weren't lacking for goaltending. Even if Lu managed to steal one of his two games in net, the Canucks lacked any scoring threat at ES or on the PP. Look at the shot charts over the five games and you'll see what a tremendous job the Kings did in limiting any quality chances. Having 22 in for the first three games probably wouldn't change anything either, as while the Kings had trouble with the Sedins, they didn't have trouble with the Kesler or Pahlsson line.

The Canucks had serviceable, and then exceptional, goaltending. The Kings also had excellent goaltending. But the series wasn't won there.
