There are 2 possibilities there and neither is great.
Marvel has gotten in the nasty habit of changing their comics to be like the movies recently. They just made regular Nick Fury black and added Agent Coulsen to canon. They also just turned Ms. marvel into Captain Marvel. So either Captain Marvel is a girl in the movies (unlikely) or, as Marvel tends to do nowadays with any half decent comic they put out, her book will be cancelled and they'll bring back the old Captain instead.
they made regular Nick Fury black? What. How? How does that even. Like.... did they just start drawing him that way and pretend nothing is different or what? That's so bad.
I'd be kind of ok with them just subbing in Ms. Marvel for Captain Marvel... I've no particular attachment to the latter and we could have another sexy lady.
