That's for the entire company, though. Sony has a much higher market share. Even though Nintendo might actually be worth more (I've heard, I'm not sure), a loss for a singularly focused company is a much bigger deal.

Sony can restructure fairly easily, and get out of markets they are not profitable in if need be. Nintendo does not have that option. If they get out of the video game industry, they're essentially done.

In all honesty though, the worst case imaginable is that they'd end up as the next Sega. Even if got that bad, Nintendo will never completely die unless they decided not to live on as a third party developer.
