Cover mechanics and sunshine do not belong in Max Payne.
But as long as the flashbacks to Noir York City make up a decent chunk of the game (and Max still has his inner monologue), the end result should still be good.
Max DOES still have his inner monologue, right? Because if that's gone then the only fitting reaction to this game would be to kill it with fire.
