rondo's effort in running the offense dropped noticeably in the second half though. in the first half we can chalk it up to godawful shooting by kg and bass but we should have expected more of rondo attacking the basket in the second.
and again, philly was not only able to execute in the half court - which i admit begrudgingly - but was also able to hit tons of really really bad shots - pullup shots, heavily contested shots, iso fallaways, etc - which absolutely sets their crowd on fire and ignites their half-court teamwork game
silver lining this game is pierce i guess, but with only one leg he was not going to produce 36 points, and as great as he is at it, you can't win a game just by shooting free throws.
