---------------------------------- Mik_Pick final ----------------------------------

From Justin_Crossing (back up): What was your alliance's logic in keeping Valentine alive when Caelus dethroned her?

Answer: The reason we kept Valentine after she lost to Caelus was to avoid potential backlash. At that point in the game there were still 13 people left, and where Cody hadn't been fully pulled over from the blue team, we only had an alliance of 4. At this point in the game, the red tribe still believed we were all unified. Breaking this unity so soon into the merge could have easily caused a couple of red members to flip over to the blue tribe, and we would lose our numbers advantage. I would have to scramble to get everything back in order, so it just wasn't worth the risk. Valentine losing proved that she was mortal, so ultimately we waited until I secured Cody, and the numbers were low enough to safely blindside Valentine.

Closing Remarks: I hope that everyone can see that I played this game to win from Day 1. Pre merge my goal was to help the Red Tribe get to the merge with a numbers advantage, which I accomplished. Post merge my goal was to secure a tight alliance and lead them to victory, which I also accomplished. I orchestrated the blindside of Valentine, and was in control of a majority alliance up until the final 5. People would come to be, and listen to what I asked them to do. I think my management of Cody deserves to be recognized, as I believe that building a relationship with him was the key to our alliances success. While I had always planned on taking Stan to the end with me, I think him picking me over an easy win shows that I too formed a tight relationship with him over the course of the game. So I am asking the jury to put aside any personal feelings, and vote for the person who was directly responsible for voting out each of you, the person who managed to outwit, outplay, and outlast everyone.
