I'm 27. Still haven't grouped. Ended up skipping the first dungeon entirely (which I didn't really intend on doing, but queue times for dps were long and no one in the guild was running it).
I joined Caprica, the largest guild on the server, and while it's strange joining a guild without knowing someone before hand, or knowing exactly what I want to do with the game, it gives me more quests for guild tokens that I can use to buy gear, and everyone I've talked to in it has been pretty cool so far.
I died for the first time sometime overnight this morning. I think I was 21, maybe 22. Decided to try and solo one of the BAMs (the first one you get a quest for) and I would have had it if I had remembered my agro shadow ability and been using it the entire time, but I slipped up. I did get the big bad guy down to 66.6% (no joke) before he decided he'd had enough.
Thinking about starting a healer to run with you Ayu since you're all tanky tank and only playing him/her when you're on or when I need to catch it up to your guy, but I'm not sure how directional healing really works so that may fall through and I may just make another dps (ranged this time) to run with y'all.
Messed around with the broker system (basically the auction house), and it's nice that each main city of a quest zone has a couple brokers in it so you can take care of that without having to go back to the primary capitol.
Enchanting is.....interesting.
Working on my alchemy, leatherworking and weaponsmithing right now as well.
I'm loving the glyph system they have for modding skills, and the limitations put on it by the point system.
Just my thoughts so far.
