TopicI, much like Rammtay, find the "brony" trend unsettling.

"my little pony" is the ****ing cancer of the internet. I'm sick of seeing that ****.
And all the trolling on the Ghost show is hilarious, until the bronies show up and think they're funny, but they aren't. I'm sick of those losers. It's a show for 5 year old girls. My sister watched it 25 years ago. It's not funny, and it's not cool. **** off, bronies.

You seem upset, sir.

Apparently the bronies that go to these things only talk about the newest show and don't know anything about any of the older series. This somehow ruins it for older fans who are more into the previous incarnations. I like the new show but think the older ones are hideous and creepy, so it's not like I'm, like, Team Old My Little Pony Fans, but it does seem pretty jerkish of the bronies to act that way at these things.

This doesn't seem like a very good reason to get upset. This kind of thing happens in most fandoms. It's just veterans being cranky in my opinion.

I really like the reboot of Doctor Who from 2005 but I'm not terribly interested in going back and watching the old stuff from the 60s. Does that mean I'm ruining the fandom for the veteran WhoFans?
