I fully expect the BW protagonist to show up anyways. He/She/Thon WAS the chosen dragon tamer, or whatever.
Expect some lame ass excuse like "After the disbandment of Team Plasma, Reshiram / Zekrom was released so it could look for its other half and become one again".
